  1. TWO new version of this mod is now available: v2.5 with the DI* text being enlarged to more realistic size. Small changes to the Data panel number positions - This is IC compliant v3 with the same as changes as v2.5, but with the addition of the glow/bloom effect on the text for the DI* and the Data panel being removed - This does unfortunately fail IC If IC is not a consideration for you I highly recommend using v3. * Destination indicator Image below is of v3
  2. When wings appear.
  3. Doing that would require you to move the cursor to the target, so if it's far away and/or behind you it will take some faffing around to get it to where it needs to be. With SPA it's directly in front of the aircraft and may therefore be faster. With SPA you will also still have the position of the main target point still in the system, so depending on load out and mission that could be beneficial.
  4. @IronMike Would you be able to add this to the list, if it's not already on there. Should be a pretty easy fix in my mind as the texture's already in there. But upside down as per the other bug report.
  5. @IronMike This video @ 12:12 is one of few videos of it. It's not the same symbology, but should be the same hardware behind it. https://youtu.be/sGJCFt3wK6c
  6. It was caused by the IC changes the ED made two weeks ago. This problem was fixed when they reverted those changes the other week, so it's no longer a problem thankfully.
  7. @The_Nephilim If you still have the problem with the scan line pattern give this a try. This will completely removed the scan lines (and the chromatic aberration). It also passes IC. EP-13 - scan line remove.zip EP-13 - scan line remove and chromatic abberation.zip
  8. @IronMike Another radar related feature that is missing, seemingly intentionally, is the wind compensated "forward line" when using the Rb04. Do you know why it was not implemented, and would it be possible to get it on the list of things to add? From one of the files from the AJS module: "Rb04 also show vertical line (which is wind compensated but we are not going to do that) and the min max lines should also be displayed".
  9. Yeah, much sharper indeed. It probably helps not having to worry about performance issues, there's probably a few more samples taken by the real radar than the one in-game.
  10. Might be out of the scope for this update, but getting some of the effects on the CRT display in this video would be awesome. And somewhat annoying at time I'm sure, but more immersive.
  11. Just did some tests at low speed and calculated the thrust to be about 13,9kN, so pretty close to the 14,3kN from the manual. And there are probably some losses that I'm not compensating for, so I'd say it's accurate as is.
  12. I remember reading that it has a relatively high thrust output at flight idle, but if what we have in DCS is accurate or not I do not know. Flight idle should be about 14,3kN according to "SFI FPL AJS37, Del 1".
  13. There is a push-through detent between ground and flight idle, and the thrust increase is linear from ground idle to max dry. The upside down "T" are "physical" detents where you have to lift or push the throttle. The triangles are push through detents
  14. Haven't updated it since last year when it was "fixed", but I am using all of the data in a fuel planner and that is still very accurate. So I'm certain it's still bugged, and the charts should still be accurate.
  15. Looks like there are a few ships in front of the aircraft, which would be visible on the radar. Wouldn't be much of a contour though, more just a small dot. Especially with the radar in the 120km mode.
  16. Yes, it's just a sound mod for the RWR. HB reached out to me before I did to them, so it should be implemented at some point in the future. But while we wait for that to get done I'll maintain this mod.
  17. Hi, My mod for the Viggen RWR is being "blocked" by IC after today's patch. In my mind it's not really able to be exploitable, but adds more and more realistic sounds to the otherwise very inaccurate RWR that is in there by default.
  18. Thanks for posting that thread! I'll definitely do so.
  19. @Cobra847 @RagnarDa @IronMike This mod does no longer pass IC since todays OB patch, is this intended or did it accidentally get applied to it? I would like to be able to use this mod again. Thanks, MYSE
  20. Version 4.0 NOTE: This mod now breaks IC Added SA-5 "Square Pair" illumination radar Search - 500Hz, on 0,1 and off 0,2 seconds Track - ambulance tone Added angle limitations to illumination radars to reduce the chance of getting a stray lock tone. It works to some extent but it's unfortunately not perfect for whatever reason
  21. Just remembered this for earlier this year. So I guess it works differently now, from what it did a few months ago?
  22. The backup system does not compensate for compressibility, and will therefore show a different altitude compared to the main system. Not sure how accurate the error of 1500m is however, but it should be there.
  23. Pretty sure that should be black/grey. There are a few illustrations with them dark and the horizon line and all that white. All things dark is drawn by the radar (electron)gun, so while it draws the radar returns, it also does the distance and angle lines.
  24. Right here. https://forums.eagle.ru/topic/281497-airfield-reference-codes/?tab=comments#comment-4768984
