Dam, I missed that sale, 50% off for the F16 , this is more to my liking. Yes, most of my buys have been sales or packages or gifts for special occasions. I have most of the modules and maps, Afghan is next for me and the Vietnam map if it comes. Holding off on the Phantom - F4 until that map arrives. Yes, it's along wait, I know. I just felt that prices have gone up this year compared to last year .

I've just looked at some of the prices and see that the normal rate is $80.00 for a module. Yes I normally wait for the sales. But most modules really don't come down in price that much. I've been waiting for the F16 for like ages. Also noticed I can't use my miles in certain modules. Why is this. ? Where do you get promo codes from is there any . As i loyal customer, lol, surely we get codes and miles to ease the pain.

Maybe you misunderstood my meaning. Have you tried the other SIMs? I'm sure you have, Please correct my meaning. As I'm sure, you know what I mean. The other SIMs have got it right, so why can't DCS, Because they have never changed things until now. And this is because there has been a push for better spotting lately, and a mod was used for spotting in the WWII servers which bypassed the integrity check. The problem I see is in VR not flat screen fly in 4K, and it looks amazing, and the spotting looks decent. I've tested this. Fly in VR and you get big black Blobs.

This has been a DCS problem for many years , and has been untouched and left to rot until Now. With bigger and fast PC computers we can get photo realistic graphics now . I wish DCS had the same scale system as BMS, or il2 great battles , their VR scaling is what we need . I'm bringing up other sims as an example. DCS leads the way in sheer volume and attention to detail. But yet still struggling with the basics. I went VR about a year ago and I find it amazing when it runs smoothly , Spends hours flying here . Just hope DCS can do the right thing and bring the community what it craves. The F4 is coming and that's close range combat .

We are still waiting for improvement, still waiting for MT improvement. I've gone back to old style spotting, it's not ideal in VR , but neither is the new style. I tested on 4K monitor and the spotting looked good. But in VR it's way too big .

I'm trying to do one also showing the same thing about Petro not locking targets. However all my flights are on multiplayer. Tracks are long or broken. . Not had time lately.

Are tracks broken again I'm trying to save a track but I keep getting errors.

When I've taken fire from enemy, yes, sometimes the sight will not A-line, and he can not move the sight crosshairs. I gather that the sight has been hit, and I abort the mission. This has nothing to do with Petro not locking targets up in a level flight towards targets. This is all online. Will test offline soon, I'm too busy at the moment .

So as solo flyer how do we know if sight is toppled . Is there any sign of this .

When is the new damage modeling coming . This could be the the issue im having that all my flying is on servers . And he seems unable to lock targets that are right in front of me . ill be honest ive not tested off line . Will test this weekend .

With DLSS on , are you at quality, Or performance. Try DLSS and DLAA , I think . I've heard it's pretty good.

Are you using MT or single core EXE . Whats your headset settings at . ? Are you using openXR . ? Using DLSS or any upscaler . if using upscaler your have soft resolution. Blurr and ghosting . TRY MSAA x 2 . no upscale .

Ive just flown on the ECW server in the hind , Petro takes way too long to lock a target , Over and over asking him to lock it up , Im tired of this . So many complaints from people about Petro and still no fixes . I can clearly see these targets with my mark one,but he is blind as a bat . Discord commuity has said this isnt petro but DCS and its spotting difficulties . ??? I dont see how this would effect Petro locking up a targets . We get hit with a missle and petro calls out missle 20 seconds too late .. lol , Good call petro we are going down . LOL

So i just drag the files into MT.exe .?? or normal DCS.exe Thank you for the heads up .

Yes seems a bit odd , maybe it means the larger map . Not the smaller map .

This has been going on for years , this is DCS , as people say in chat welcome to DCS , this happens when the dot transforms in to a 3D Object, it disappears for a few seconds . The community is waiting for a fix . And a new spotting system. As it's well over due.

No this is straight flying, not even turning, I can clearly see targets yet the sight bounces around targets , you get so close the Ai is already firing at you , there are lots of threads on Petro not finding targets , blind as a bat , springs to mind . In fact why bother taking it out of the hanger , I have to switch to rockets , I'm that close . And another thing is the AI door gunners working. ??? Is there any sound when they fire , I don't see them fire or hear anything. What is the magnification of the sight . ? And what is the range of the AT-6 and AT-9 Oh this is all online and using MT and VR . Thx for the reply by the way .
