  5. So don’t confuse IDM with L16. L16 is a network that has time slots for transmission and receive of messages. Messages are transmitted from each unit to the network every frame.   7. It’s SPI related. Even with correct Alt input to Flight Plan, SP diamonds etc “hang”
  8. HAF F-16CJ-1 denotes: The speedbrakes open to 60 degrees with the right MLG not down and locked. With the right MLG down and locked, speedbrake opening is limited to 43 degrees to prevent the lower surfaces from striking the runway during landing. This limit can be overridden by holding the SPD BRK switch in the open (aft) position. When the NLG strut compresses on landing, the speedbrakes can be fully opened and remain fully open without holding the SPD BRK switch. So speedbrakes CAN be fully opened with NLG strut compress. Appears this is not automatic in any way
  9. Loft cues are for PB and EOM sub modes. But missile self lifting in RUK is an unknown as I can’t find any reference to it
  10. just watched Wags’ F16 HARM RUK video and noticed the HARM loft after launch. I can’t find any reference to that POS sub mode utilising loft. HAF doc I have says “No loft cues” for RUK. But does the missile still loft? Curious as to where the team got the answer from. Thanks

  12. Regardless of which alignment you’re doing, you MUST wait for flashing ALIGN in the HUD. That is when the INS has the information it needs. STORED, do not Enter the LL on ICP initially. Norm, then Enter displayed LL by Enter, dobber down, Enter
  13. Easiest way in DG mode is to Emergency Jett the tanks and go CAT I at that point. If you’re at the merge it’s too late to be messing with SMS pages and switching CAT modes imho

  15. Try the 3-3 30Degree demo maneuver and check cockpit AOA then mate
  16. TMS L short will IFF whole scan, Long L with IFF within the bar scale. Have you got IFF In/Out mapped to HOTAS and somehow turned it off?
  17. You have 2 ALTS that cause Betty to shout. One is AGL (default 500'), the other is MSL (default 5000')
  18. I set Zulu time or Local in MP missions and had no L16 issues at all

  21. That’s why they carry a guide for conversions, or ask ATC for correct conversion
  22. BN, surely common sense prevails here that MAX AB would cause the jet to jump chocks. Advancing the throttle clicks off parking brake too
