  1. No, it refuses to work until you depress the TDC, thus redesignating the point.
  2. To iterate on Paco's comment, the Mi-8 has a blade tip speed of ~700ft/s, so you cannot hide in the notch because you are always on both sides the doppler filter; the radar is simultaneously reading you as advancing and retreating at ~414kts, in relation to the big spinning radar reflector you use to fly. Helicopters are always going to be in a bad place when it comes to radar detection.
  3. Yeah it doesn't seem to remember that it's a valid launch point, so you have to redesignate every time. Seems like a bug to me.
  4. Just dreaming on the Blk 3, but the HMD is already in the game and Deka said (a long time ago, grain of salt) that if the PAF adopted the HMD they would enable it for us to use.
  5. @DArt how do I access the TAF panel? The tutorial video shows it already open, but every server (SP & MP) I try, the window is not open or available. Is there something special I need to do? I have LotATC Advanced, and the server configurator shows everything is installed correctly.
  6. Another bug? The mod appears to have some kind of CWIS that emanates from the centroid of the model, from the Wiki article it shouldn't have much beyond a few 40mm Bofors. Tacview-20211231-130507-DCS.zip.acmi
  7. Quick bug report on the exocet version: Seawolves are fired from the Exocet launchers, Seacats are fired straight aft and don't track, and some launcher fires straight down causing self-damage EDIT: Same issue with the non-exocet version, seacats launch from invisible launchers on the sides & work, launch straight back and fail, and fire straight down causing self-damage Tacview-20211231-122828-DCS.zip.acmi Tacview-20211231-125210-DCS.zip.acmi
  8. It's not happening on my end, it has to be a calibration or control input issue on your end.

    LotATC TAF?

In the patch notes: "Added: LotATC human driven TAF." Are there any guides or a description of how to use this?
  10. Any chance of adding the JF-17 as a donor to the system? The SPJ provides accurate azimuth and slant ranging to an emitter, very much like the HTS.
  11. MFD symbology is improperly masked and can jump outside the MFD at high pitch. https://imgur.com/1pAYrmJ https://imgur.com/GiPU3zQ https://imgur.com/lgKRA6U
  12. Did you power the pylon on the AAP? CLDP needs to be on.
  13. The RB-15 has a massively oversized warhead in-game, it's 4000lbs in the games files IIRC, this is to cause ships to immediately sink. Abstracting how ships go down is something that needs to be worked on in the game, because ships usually take days to burn and sink, unless hit by something that breaks the keel or they take significant damage below the waterline. All that to say, don't base anything off the RB-15, it's 'cheated' the system so ships sink in a timely fashion.
  14. With the 701, use the Tpod, HUD, or radar to get close, when you make the 701 your SOI you should TDC depress before anything else to ground stabilize the seeker, then slew to the target and lock. As for TEFs, they stay up for me, I never need to be so low and slow that they should be down.
  15. It's a test to see the speed at which the tires pop and if its related to aircraft weight.
  16. I don't think that's Deka's call to make, the AGM-154 is a missile too. It seems that if it has wings or a rocket motor it falls into the missile category. When/if we get the smaller calibre LS-6s (50(?), 100, 250kg versions) they should be in the same class as the L JDAMs.
  17. Do you have a track file or AMCI?
  18. May I ask you to reproduce the LS-6 and GB-6 Bugs? I just tried both and had good results; GB-6 38NM launches with ~5m accuracy, and LS-6s destroying 8 of 12 targets (the 4 remaining targets had <10% health). LS-6_MBT.zip.acmi GB-6_LS-6_35NM.zip.acmi
  19. Already reported, working as intended. The screen has a limited FOV irl. Check the special options to adjust or remove the effect if you want.
  20. The method of exporting the VTB changed, the old way was to add the viewport to VTB_init, the new file is VTB_viewport_init (I'm away from my computer so the name might be a little off) So check the file that's added for the VTB in Helios and the name given, and edit that into the new file. The default export is to MFCD_RIGHT so you can just change that to the correct name.
  21. Hate to say it; but just like the SD-10 needed to be moved to the 120 scheme because the R-77 wasn't being taken care of, you're probably going to need to move the 802ak(g) to the harpoon/SLAM scheme because ED isn't going to fix it.
  22. There's already a JF-17 standalone DTC editor, why not have a simple external utility for editing? or partner with the current version to ensure a Gui editor is always available. Best of both worlds, imo.
  23. Did some Desert Thunder campaign last night, hit 3 of 4 shots, missiles performed down to a 3nm rear aspect. I know the aim-120 scheme is having issues, but it didn't feel like it.

    Rain

I tested #3 specifically for this post and still had the issue, so either something is messed up on my end, or its not actually fixed.

    Rain

Works fine here, except on "Overcast Rain 3", but that affects all aircraft it seems. https://i.imgur.com/x7Mn20u.mp4
