  1. Wow thank you for your detailed instructions! I will give it a try and see how this works for me
  2. Hi I would like to ask if it is possible to have maybe a slider in the special options of each module with which it is possible to set the default FOV for the respective module. I noticed that each module can have a different FOV and therefore, depth perception, distance, model size and speed is very differently seen among the modules because of the difference in the FOV. For example the carrier appears to be much farther away in the tomcat, compared to the hornet at the same exact distance. Of course i could zoom ingame but resetting the FOV brings me back to the default one and i have to adjust it again. I believe that this could be a helpful tool, yet no cheat as it is anyway possible to set the FOV manually but annoying. I know that it is possible already with each module with some LUA magic but this apparently breaks the integrity check, hence no multi player. Thanks for having a look.
  3. OT: it is a finnish hornet btw ;)
  4. Takeoff is usually carried out with half flaps and T/O trim. To set takeoff trim, there is a button on the left console. With flaps to auto and gear up, the plane automatically establishes a 1g flight, so no pitch up should occur. With landing gear down the FCS logic is different, however above 250 kts the landing gear must be up to prevent damage.
  5. Just as a sidenote to your screenshots: It would be very helpful to see the actual scale of the SA page. You are in a submenu in which the scale is not shown.
  6. Page 130, ICLS Checklist Box, bullet point 5: The bold text is wrong, it should be the other way around. Moreover it is inconsistent with what is written below Fig. 64: which is correct. At least it represents the ingame behavior
  7. I would look in the Multiplayer section of the forum. There is a squardron news subsection where you can find info and news about recruitment
  8. I think you are good when you map FWD and AFT for most situations. You can program the ALE 47 to put out either flares or chaff as programmed or you go with bypass mode and put out single flares and chaff by pressing the respective buttons
  9. What does the manual say about puttting off the stick from the base? Did you grab and applied torque exactly at the point where it instructed you to do so?
  10. To actually fire the laser it is not enough to press the trigger, you also need to activate TRGR (or similar, not at my pc right now) on the DDI where you have the FLIR. (Somewhere on the right of the page)
  11. Will it keep you now from loading it? :music_whistling:
  12. Can you save a track file and upload it here? Then we can see step by step what you are doing. You can save it in the debrief screen.
  13. Thank you Nineline, i will have a look soon!
  14. As far as I understood, the MIN ALT in the A-10 gives you only a warning that you should not release the bomb, otherwise you possibly will get damaged, however the bomb will explode. The DUD cue in the hornet (the bar) tells you that if you release the bomb after the cue appeared, the bomb fuze doesn't have enough time to get armed and thus the bomb will not explode. I could be wrong though
  15. But why did all bombs hit the target in the last trackfile? In this attempt, i set QTY to all stations, designate the target and release. However i only set the target waypoint only once.
  16. HMD stands for Helmet Mounted Device and does not reflect the HUD entirely. The symbology can be different, although some information which is displayed on the HUD is also displayed on the HMD. It is basically another screen which is projected into the helmet glass. Do you want to rebuild an entire HUD by yourself?
  17. Out of curiosity: how does the plane calculate its weight? Does it just sum up the fuel and the ordnance loaded? Is there an actual sensor attached to the wheels, with which it can be measured? I know there is some sensor to detect wow.
  18. Hi I noticed a strange behavior with the JDAMs in TOO mode. I select several stations for release by choosing the respective station in the QTY menu in the JDAM DSPLY menu, accessible from the stores page. I set up a test mission for which i loaded up 6 JDAMs, 1 bomb on STA 2 and STA 8, 2 bombs on STA 3, STA 7. I selected STA2 and STA 8 for the first run. I expect both bombs to fall onto WPT 1 as this is the designated target waypoint. The first bomb's trajectory is as expected and hits the target accordingly. However the second bomb follows a trajectory by 90° off the target direction and therefore detonates very far away from the target. Please see the attached trk files. I flew the mission three times, each time trying a combination of different stations selected in the QTY menu. I expect every bomb to hit the target as there was never another point designated. This is however not the case for every combination. Thanks for having a look Edit: I know that in the last track, everything works fine. I attached it to showcase different scenarios. 19. Through the module manager in game. Near the module the is a button which allows you to change/deactivate the license. A window will pop up which looks like the one, used to input the license key. In this window, you will find a link to decativate the license.
  20. I'm not sure about this but i think you can't. The RIO is in charge for Chaff. Tell Jester the program and he is going to use it on his own when necessary.
  21. It is displayed in the data readout line on the TID. The line changes however every 2 seconds or so to also schow other quantities. I think RA stands for the range in nm.
  22. Not at a PC right now, so i can't test but does it work when clicked manually instead of using the TDC?
  23. and it's quite good and still under active development
  24. Did you try it by setting the same arrival time instead of speed?
  25. i don't know anything about the circle but aren't those super hornets?
