The issue is the 2 weapons are different and have different weights. You will need to trim L wing down to compensate. Would've been nice to have it trimmed out for the training mission. The Frogfoot always needs trimming when dropping weapons off one side too. This is probably why you have to drop bigger bombs in pairs on outer pylons.
You can toggle through 3 settings of ROE using L Control+2,3,4.(Hold, Return Fire, and Fire Freely) You can also change burst length they fire.
L Window+H opens AI control panel so you can see what you're changing.
Yes. The Caucasus map is undergoing a renovation with better terrain textures, trees, water, building detail so any missions taking place there will look better when the updated map gets released. Some pictures in the store could be older and not reflect some other changes that were made. I don't recall ground units ever being improved so what you see is what they look like.
I'm sure you're aware of F-10 options...If you're talking about Create Fast Mission it's not spawning ground units yet. German soldiers aren't working yet either. Did any of this cover your issue?
Although you can get away with mixing rockets on inside racks with bombs putting rockets on outside racks with anything other than rockets with them won't work. According to manual you aren't supposed to mix any A/G weapons at all.
It's been a while since I tried in-game MSAA/AT but it did seem a little smoother. I still see lower FPS and micro-stutter when looking L to R though.
One thing of note was I saw the largest smoke plume I've ever seen coming off a ship being bombarded by naval artillery. It must've been a half mile high.
I got a weird error when trying to drop a cbu-105 and it didn't drop. Under bomb status it said ALN DEG. In manual the only thing I could find close to that is ALN GRDY which means bomb is aligned but you're on ground. After passing target I thought maybe I didn't make target SPI so I did that and it didn't change. Anyone know what this means?
First on the loadout screen you need to create a new loadout and name it. Then you can right click on middle column to add bombs.
As far as waypts. make sure to have 3 perfectly in line with each other (4,5,and 6 in pic). You need a waypt before and after bombing waypt to create your bombing run.
5 is where the advanced waypt action is added and you put arrow in middle of area you want to bomb. Make sure this waypt is far enough from target 2.5 miles or more.
I'm not sure if it's only 105's or 97's too but I've noticed what LeCuvier is talking about. Before the skeets would only detonate if they saw a target but now you see a bunch of extra ones detonate and shoot down at the ground.
I was wondering if they just tried to model it more accurately since the real ones have a lot of skeets missing the target vehicles.
Open mission and select "create trigger zone". Click on map to place it and reduce or enlarge size to what you want. {pic1}
Select "set rules for trigger" and set type to mission start and action to scenery destruction. choose % of damage and you're done. {pic2}
The skins issue is probably because you're not choosing France for country. Most skins will only work on country they represent although some can be chosen with any country.
