Always nice to have the pilot body as detailed as possible but I rather take a simple one than none at all any day of the week. In VR its just weird without one at all, I simply dont fly aircraft that dont have one.

So then only ED aircraft can use it? If so, it would be desirable at least if the textures for the current maps on the Viggen pilots legs could be broken out by HB to their own texture files in higher resolution instead of as now embedded in the pilots textures in low resolution. Then you could put anything you want on those two pages at least. When flying on the upcoming Kola Map for example the current maps of south of Sweden could be replaced with something more useful.

Well thats sad for you, something must be off in your setup, either some setting or a hardware that does not work good for DCS somehow (CPU or something). Because if you dont see any improvements in VR after MT + DLSS you are missing out on something that I think most of us others are getting for some reason.

Im trying to use the impact in zone trigger in this script-set but I cant get it to work. Does anyone have a example miz-file with this working?

But actually it would be much better if they where manned by completly static bodys like the 23mm. I dont care if they are animated as long as the gun dont has a mind of its own an operates by itself.- 7 replies

Same for me with a 3080. When the 2.9 update came all shimmering that was massive before disapeared. Instead came much better FPS. And Im running DLSS instead of DLAA. Cant see a reason for using DLAA because it gives me a bit less FPS and I cant see all the DLSS problems some are talking about. To me 2.9 was a wild improvement. But one thing to note, Im not running turbo mode in Open XR, perhaps the guy who mentioned that is on to something.

I play in VR on a Reverb G2 and think DLSS is great, no problems.

How nice it would be if Microsoft would just put the final version of WMR available for download on their website like they have .Net frameworks ans stuff for people still using "legacy" WMR headsets the day its removed from Windows and the Windows store. Could not be a big thing for them.

Do you mean that you can run DCS with the Reverb without WMR using Open XR? Because thats how I have understood it, if that is correct I wonder if many i this thread knows that.

Would be nice with a script that makes a aircraft instantly lase a specified target when a flag gets a specific value. That way you could trigger it any way you like with normal triggers in the Mission Editor. Its probably doable because I think there are some scripts for lasing targets. But I dont know how to do it.

Indeed! But the bug causing static AJS-37 to levitate above the ground is still there though, I was hoping that it was included when I read the changelog
