  1. Why should he? This is the original question in the OP: "Question is - what is the better way to set up for DCS, set the curves in OpenTrack, curves in DCS or a combination of both?" You're completely off topic in a ≈four year old thread. I encourage you to make your own thread like "Realistic TrackIR curves". Too bad they can't be adaptive, so it will be close to impossible to perform any cold start without a full fidelity simpit or VoiceAttack/Macro keyboards. Mods, @NineLine @BIGNEWY, I believe this thread has run it's course. Cheers all!
  2. It's not about your user having administrative rights, it's about DCS running as the Windows Administrator. Right click the shourtcut/exe and select properties, then uncheck the "Run as administrator" checkbox. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  3. Noticed that too! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  4. Oasis fan? [emoji848] [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  5. @CTB If you get 90-120 FPS on 2.5.6, you might get 60 on the newest version, which should be decent enough. Have you tried? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  6. Who let the dogs out? [emoji848] [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  7. Yup, adding non-default modifiers are stored and can mess things up. Yeah, many tend to mark their own last post the solution just repeating the steps in the real solution!
  8. Well, then they tend to make a new thread, and even so, this thread was never about realism. [emoji6] The topic was to get headtracking working. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  9. Probably the oil barrel bombing in Syria. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  10. Aaaaah! Thanks. @ForceScreamers Apologies, I didn't even consider you did that. In case you don't know, you can just drag and drop them as they are into your post. Makes a little easier. Cheers!
  11. Ah, older OS compatibility! [emoji1303] Well, I'm on 2013 hardware. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  12. No, the file name is DCS.log Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  13. It's good practice to install the mod via a mod manager, even for Saved Games Mods. When you get the above licence message, it's always because the mod was installed in the core installation folders. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  14. That's the clip only, right? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  15. You need the DCS.log file from the Saved Games\DCS\logs folder. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  16. Fair point! [emoji1303] Just thought it might be quicker. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  17. You can't solder the correct connection over? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  18. Yes, they have currently kept the BIN-MT folder for compatibility with shortcuts and potential 3rd party launchers. No. The files are identical, like I wrote. If you would like to test. It's easy. Just start DCS.exe from one folder first, and then the other. And on the off chance that there would be a difference, you have found a major bug! No problem. In laws? Try my mother.
  19. Unfortunately FC3 is no more. Any reason you want to play that old version? Maybe if you purchase FC2024 the FC3 license will work, but you need to contact support for that. Is the 2.5.6 still available for download? Was not aware of that. Cheers! Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  20. The default mouse click for the LAlt+C keybind is double clicking the wheel. You can reset to default by right clicking an individual cell or the top of the column. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  21. Like MSI afterburner? Or was that a thing only with AMD CPUs?
  22. Mmmm... I see the issue now. You can use it as cheat. No wonder why this thread hasn't received more action.
  23. Excellent! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  24. Not directly. You need to move the whole Saved Games folder under the user , not Saved Games\user. Select Saved Games in file Explorer. Right click, chose settings. Then you find a wizard for moving it. If you don't want to move Saved Games, but only Saved Games\DCS. You can but then you need to use symbolic/hard links. Cheers! 25. You have to enable telemetry to get the effects DCS doesn't have out of the box.
