  2. My guess is that the different modules have to support this in some way but sounds like a definite bug that should be reported.

From what I have read over the year or so is that they are very comparable resolution wise etc. From anyone that has used both extensively I think the Rift comes out ahead for comfort in long playing sessions. If you are looking for room scale experience seems the Vive comes out a little ahead. Might depend on what games you intend to play primarily. If it is DCS only I would go for Rift due to comfort.
  4. Yes, everyone has this issue. ALT-ENTER to put the desktop window into full screen. Or move your task bar to the side of your windows desktop.
  5. I've tried something similar for F15C's and always crashes to desktop for client but works fine on AI group.

  8. Don't think this is supported. At least when I tried it for an F15C it crashed DCS. Exact same code works fine for AI flights though.

  10. Once you go VR you never go back. Its as simple as that. You'll only find people saying its not ready that haven't tried it.
  11. If it is like the Rift then setting one or the other will take effect not both so I would say just use the in game one.
  12. Looks like the options might be different for plane vs helicopter groups? Not sure. Will check this when I am back on my DCS rig.
  13. I see a good number of downloads for this mission. Wouldn't mind some feedback on it if anyone has any!!
  14. Is there an Open Fire option instead of Weapons Free? I think I ran into something similar. I think Weapons Free means only if fired upon or some nonsense. At least that is what my testing seemed to prove. Once I switched to Open Fire they attacked as you are looking for.
  15. I think your system will perform just fine with the Rift.

  17. I am thinking of writing a CGICAP replacement using Moose. One can already do it themselves with Moose pretty easily but I'm thinking more along the lines of a template mission that folks can grab, define what they need to ina few lines of code and Moose does the rest. I just need to find the time to do this. Maybe if I can work with Pikey we can get something out sooner.
  18. I have escorts working alright in my mission however it is scripted. But the script is generating the same thing that one would create using the ME as far as I understand. I'm using F18's as an escort to AWACS and they follow no matter where the AWACS goes. Even when I order the AWACS to return to base the escort will do the same.

  20. Can we get an example of how to spawn a new airplane group based from a player group in a random radius around the player group. Say for example, more than 50nm and less than 100nm from the player group?
  21. Thanks, I'll try and remember that for the future. I was wondering why the video wasn't working but thought it was my browser blocking something or something just not right. Links fixed.
  22. I forget the process but I transitioned pretty smoothly from Steam to non. I think there is a FAQ on the website somewhere. I believe all the saved games are in the same location so you don't even have to do anything with that. But again I don't recall exactly.
