It says Beta and Steam, even when you open DCS, and the little ad on the left side pops up. Well, it says to DCS standalone and Steam. But, they always release on Beta first, then eventually to stable.

I've watched EVERY F-14 video that's been released at least 2 times. I didn't even make it halfway through DDGs video. I understand that he offers a possibly different group of people an insight into something they may not have known about, helping HB and ED, but it was still too much for me.

This. I love a nicely weathered/even slightly dirty cockpit. When I first got the A-10C, I thought the cockpit was too clean, and searched for this: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1562558/ to get that real immersion into a combat zone.

Isn't that the point of a high fidelity simulator? To simulate real life? If you want quick start/unlimited ammo/easy flight model, I know a great new game that just came out on console/PC. I'm partially kidding, but not, at the same time. This IS a simulator, after all.

I'm wondering if VR will work similarly to the way TrackIR is used, in regards to the Jester menu. Can you still just look at the specific part of the menu, and press the select key?

I've been noticing less and less servers allowing people to spawn on the deck of a carrier. It's usually still out there, floating along somewhere, but you have to fly to it to be able to use it.
