  1. I've stopped flying anything else. Even with any missing features, or bugs, it's still such an amazing aircraft to fly. Also, it gives me the most rewarding sense of accomplishment to get things right.
  2. It is a work in progress, with the sounds being one of the later things they implemented. Everything is subject to change, and they have already said the sounds were still being worked on.
  3. Yeah, sorry. I had a couple tabs open, and replied to the wrong thing.
  4. The Tarawa Tacan hasn't yet been implemented.
  5. Just doing a copy/paste from the SS/Video thread...
  6. I have to do some "adulting" and run to Lowes. When I get back, I'll give this a shot. Thanks!
  7. Which cut-off switch? It gets so annoying killing your engines while trying to taxi...

    Sounds!

It literally came out today, in EARLY ACCESS, which means it's still a WIP, as is the Mirage. There was a post recently, stating that ED has decided to no longer control the module sounds, and it's now up to the individual developers to create their own sounds. This happened kind of last minute, so I'm sure the sounds will be tweaked in coming updates.
  9. Uh, the pocket guide has the info you seek, and has been out for a while... https://www.dropbox.com/s/rwxk88479v98thh/AV8BNA%20Pocket%20Guide.pdf?dl=0

    Smoke?

Very interested in this info, as well!
  11. Have you gone into the module manager, and downloaded the required files?
  12. Map a NWS button, and keep it pressed, just like the F-5.
  13. There is a thread on this, here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=196586
  14. You don't have to have 3 separate installs. Just update your current 1.5 stable to the beta. I just did it this morning, and don't regret it at all. It took maybe 30 minutes to do, and all of my settings are still the same. I used this guide: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=114030

  16. Do you typically fly in open beta, or did you switch to be able to fly the Harrier?
  17. Yeah, I jumped in for a couple quick flights before work, as well. I can take-off, either short or vertical, just fine. Landing, either regular or vertical, not so much. It's definitely something I'll be practicing again, as soon as I get off work. Such a cool plane to experience!
  18. Can also see some pretty sweet nozzle glow on the landing at the end...

    F-15E?

We probably won't get any new updates unless the E gets the green light.
  20. Seems a lot/most people don't care as much about what the capabilities are for most planes, they just want all of the weapons, all of the time, for a "level battlefield." Least realistic thing ever. I'm just going to change my signature to a link to buy Ace Combat, so those people can be happy with a "flight sim" that gives them superior firepower.
  21. I agree with this.
  22. This is what I'm hoping for. I'm really excited for the three jets that are coming, ( Tomcat, Harrier, Hornet ) but I'm probably most excited for the Tomcat.
  23. Along with the wing vapor!
  24. How much more difficult is it to hover at night, not being able to see the windvane on the nose of the plane? I read that you have to keep the nose pointed into the wind for the best stability, but it doesn't look like you can see it at all.
