  1. Just test it your self , im not tested it in VR yet but least in normal 1080p monitor it softens small fonts in GUI , but they are still ok. In game i find that it takes jaggies away from pit (i dont use msaa , only fxaa) but there is some shimmering in far away. But nothin too bad. Performance is good with fxaa.   3. Rift render target is 2700x1600 because image must strecht and cut to fit to optics. So even 1.0 PD its rendered much higher resolution than panel native. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So now im overall quite happy with 2.5 OB High vis range flat shadows (may switch this to low) DS on Heat Blur low Antialising off and AF off Trees 100% Grass 100% Smoke slider 1 All other high PD 1.3 95% Smooth 45fps (ASW) My rig : I5 8400 4.0ghz 6-core , 16gb DDR4 3000mhz, 1060 6gb OC, SSD Oculus CV1 Still its not perfect , weird stutters here and there sometimes. But what i like in 2.5; Buildings etc drawn quite far even high setting. No pop ups (least not too much) Forest blends quite nice. Finally can see ground targets much better (somekind scaling is in use, least IMHO) Uniform look, colors are back, not so washed out. Tuning still needed, now 1.8 gamma is ok, 1.6 is better for outside but then pit comes too dark. Ai seems to be bit better. (Least my A-10A wingmens and sharks) Now bring more VR optimisatio. Then i will real happy :) Maybe VR visual range settings , Many things are drawn too far out in VR (resolution limits vis range so drawn distance should adjusted with it) - more to come when i get out of work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Well , next patch will fix these issues , least i hope. Bit frustrating to run sim in 100-150fps easily in monitor but in VR its get slow and ugly. But i waited years for 2.5 , so i can wait weeks or month to fixes :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Slider is also range slider , 100% is max but medium , high etc vis settings also limit how far they are drawn. Just test in game . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. Why your and others option menu is curved? For me its completely flat. How to get it curved? Anyone here with 1060 6gb ? Still tuning settings, not yet figured settings to get smooth 45fps like in 1.5.x or 2.2 Nevada
  13. Nice update but still not awesome yet. VR performance is not smooth enough, but i hope that ed will tune it more. And AI flying trough trees is horrible , wonder how this was noticed only now :( Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. AI helos fly trouht trees 2.5 As title says, least MI-24 don care trees. Rotor hits clearly in trees with out zero effect. Any one noticed these. :(

  20. And rift sensors works just fine in usb2 , i have all sensors in USB 2 ports now and zero diffrence vs USB 3 ports , no matter how hard i test. Rift is in USB 3 but works in USB 2 if needed. (Least in my high end mobo) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  22. Rotaries are analog, so only place to bind those easily is in dcs axis menu. Not all modules have all knobs avaible there. :) Other option is use custom key mapping soft (saitek STT etc..) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. I have Nevada but i wont like it, sorry. I find it too booring, not intrested fighting over las vegas. So i never will Pay for caucasus again. With this amount of bugs and broken AI , its just enough money spend for now. Lets hope that 2.5 and new caucasus map will also come with least some Ai fixes :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
