I thought it was important in terms of the storyline to have the action happened at the change from dark to light, presenting new challenges for the pilot, in terms of NVG/Mk.1 eyeball. I wish there was a way we could influence that a bit better. You can ignore the ATC and go in and land Case I if you want. You’ll still progress in the mission.

    If easy comms are disabled then on the ground the '\' key works. If airborne you need to use the correct keybind for the radio you're using. It's often labeled transmit, or something like that. 'right shift \' and 'right control \' are the ones used for ED jets, IIRC. Something like that.
  4. Yep, but when you're trying to tell a story (ie, making a complex mission) if you want the tx heard, you want the tx heard.

  6. We’ve come to determine that the technique in my video is not sound (wish I had seen this thread last week!) CDES is not really meant for moving targets. Moving target continuously designation will come in later software suites and SNIPER. The way to do it, in a nutshell, is designate out in front, drop on that designation and manually steer the laser into the targets.

  8. I don't know how get rounds in z zone, to be honest. Beyond my scripting abilities. The best I can offer is the script above, which will set a flag true when a unit fires its gun. Then you could... You can set conditions in the editor... for example, the player has to be within say 1.5 miles of the target, the player has to be below XXXX feet... You could set a series of OR conditions, to make this work. Set a zone north of the target say 1.5 miles square. Call it north zone. Put to the west, call it west, put one south, put one west. Conditions: Player must be in 'north' zone, player's heading within limits: 135-225 degrees. Player's altitude below 5000ft, flag 200 is true. OR Player must be in 'west' zone, player's heading within limits: 045-135 degrees. Player's altitude below 5000ft, flag 200 is true. OR etc, etc... Then for actions you can call it suppressed.. turn off it's AI, blow it up, whatever you want to do. Set it up as detailed as you want it to be. It won't be 100% accurate, but maybe enough that a unit on the ground would be suppressed.

  14. Roger that... That's why I included two versions... The "Start from Push" option can get you back into the fight quick in case you get shot down or run out of gas
  15. Which missions and what technique are you using to engage it? I'm really at a loss as to be what's going on. Just so you know, the airborne start on this one has the autopilot engaged at mission start. So if you press the AP button it will turn it off.

  17. No idea, @dporter22.. Works fine for me and you're the first to mention any issues. I'm guessing a mod-conflict on your end if it's not working on any of my missions. I don't have anything fancy, the mission was created with vanilla assets. The only thing I can think of is that I have realistic comms enforced. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but that's all I can think of. Disable any mods you have installed and try again.   18. I added Sinai and the F-15E just two weeks ago. The BFM trainer is just BFM and multiple maps so people can enjoy the eye candy of the various maps. The addition of ground units, carrier and ships make it much, much more complex. I am not planning to add this complexity to the other mission as it will be too much work at this time. I will add aircraft to the BFM only one as they’re released.

  21. The coordinates you're given are in degress minutes decimal minutes. The PP mode of the JDAM currently does not accept those. You'll need to put them in as a waypoint, set your JDAM to TOO and designate the waypoint in order for it to work.
  22. The original has the F-15E added and also playable on Sinai. It is still BFM only. This one has all the BFM goodness, plus air to ground, anti-ship and carrier ops. It is not multi-map (that would be an incredible amount of work/time) I hope you find it useful!
