Please stay consistent with flag directions or even better, make them waving with the wind set in the mission

They're not baked in as images. They're consistent with the light direction as I can see so it is obviously normal mapping textures and it's far more realistic than simple flat texture.

The whole save game should have a different approach from the start. Don't create new mission. Just save enough data in a new file that linked with original mission runs it again with the saved changes. That way campaign's protected files don't have to be changed or copied. Same with added mission content like sounds, pictures or liveries - they all stay with the original mission file. Adding checkpoints is not an answer because it already works and it's not a save game. Saving as a new mission could be an option, not main feature.

It's in the same condition as exactly 1 year ago. If you're Eagle fan the module is a must have, no questions about that. For SP there are still couple dozen of built-in playable short missions and then some more user made content, including real gems ex. from Sedlo, probably the best DCS mission I played. We're missing campaigns though and mission creators are not willing to invest untill the resolution comes.

They are in the core game, you don't have to install them to see them or place in the mission but you can't spawn or land on them until you install the Supercarrier module.

ETA on ground crew acknowledging static objects.

You asked and I answered. It can be done and you as mission maker should follow the hints. If the mission works then the player slots will not matter. I'm just pointing out the obvious. -
They are based on the time from midnight [in seconds].

F14 not authorized / antivirus / false positive
draconus replied to Semaphore's topic in Bugs and Problems
You once again spread misinformation - firewall rules has nothing to do with the problem. The only thing worth from that video is at the 2 minute mark - the action part. -

reported DCS crashes when in F-15E using CBUs

We have to wait for the devs agreement and updates flowing again. -
Yes, I'm doing it this way. Moving mouse laterally also works. Still a long way to go up to 5k. What about that 4.5 stop?
-
No, there's no extra content. You may enjoy simpler avionics and operation, that's all.
-
No, that's not it. You have to have RWR switch set On.

F14 not authorized / antivirus / false positive
draconus replied to Semaphore's topic in Bugs and Problems
And what is the solution? The devs have already spoken. You want to hold all the updates for 2-3 weeks? I am IT guy and I don't let my users turn off AV software or make exclusions. I do that myself when false positives happen and they do happen. I also don't let my users install games on company owned PCs. Here's a free choice for everyone. Either play now and take a "risk" or wait a few weeks. I choose to trust ED/HB in this case. What you do is not my business. -
I remember someone already posted about it but can't remember the solution. Is the 5k radalt setting a real procedure? It takes a lot of time and rotations and gets only to 4.5. Tomcat bug? I'm not native but consider myself decent enough listening to english. Paco voice was so radioized that I only get half of what he's saying. I mean the guy just sits right behind me - was the ICS so bad in the Tomcat?

The more pronounced buildings like churches are very likely to be recreated at least with the common model so I'd expect that to be entirely possible. If the stadium and hospital with a heli pad are modeled (there are such models ex. on Syria, including the wind farms, btw) you can fly such missions - you have to make the mission yourself though.

Thanks for doing the first step but I need a bit more to cosider using the function: - full aircraft state (switches/sliders/rotaries positions, systems and mfd data, hyd/oil pressure/quantity, wear/damage, INS drift...) - flag variables data - resume last action/task/cmd - all waypoint and adv. waypoint actions

You spawned from the spot assigned to cat 1 (1, 5, 9, 11, 14) and that is how it will end. -
Try to increase the page file size to 30GB and test again. (out of memory errors) Do you have some user made liveries for Mi-24? (IC fails there) Run files integrity check for DCS in Steam.

F14 not authorized / antivirus / false positive
draconus replied to Semaphore's topic in Bugs and Problems
AV companies could fix this by not calling false positives in their software - but that's not a good solution. ED/HB can make an update but then they have to send the new files for whitelisting to the AV companies and you'll have another 2-4 weeks of waiting time until the files get the green light. That's bad either. So how about realising it's the false positive and move on?
