  1. Yes, real Tomcat has wheel brakes, controlled by the respective rudder pedals toe press but the brakes themselves are on the mains, not the nose wheel. What error are you talking about? Here's normal procedure for computer target mode: https://heatblur.se/F-14Manual/weapons.html#computer-target
  2. Folders - no, but you can have different set of songs on the B side with naming like BSideSong1.ogg.
  3. Some devices do not send any signal until you command first input. The workaround is to click any button or move any axis on the throttle device before clicking "Fly".
  4. Can you share a screenshot of how it looks on your side?
  5. Not a bug. This campaign uses the Stennis and this carrier has no carrier crew since Nov'2024 (introduction of directors crew) - it was supposed to be temporary solution until ED come up with some system dealing with both SC owners and non-owners. As always, no ETA on fixing this situation. https://forum.dcs.world/topic/362975-f-104-video-report-fog-progress-supercarrier-deck-crew-f-16c-arctic-thunder-campaign/
  6. Reciprocal for 300 is 120. Yes, this is how it works in FC aircraft. You don't use ILS for go around. Just do 180, fly to read 5nm range and do 180 again. In FF modules or RL you have to set your ILS frequency so you won't get any conflicting signals. It does that when your last waypoint is set for landing. You can enter ILSN mode any time by pressing "1" and by default you will have your landing point set on HSI. Cycle the airports with next waypoint bind.
  7. Call inbound then and please leave this thread alone, cause it's about IFLOLS visibility, mind you.
  8. No. Corsair core module is 5GB and Marianas WW2 is 9GB, but the latter is optional - you can select it in Module Manager. DCS grows with additions of new units and what you buy and download of course. Patches mostly replace the files with new ones but the unpacking process also needs space esp. for maps.
  9. It's been like that for a while. Can't remember if a whole year though.
  10. Slots 1-4 are spawned only at the mission start so if you delay activation of all flights by 1 second no one will spawn there and no static on spot 1 is needed in this case.
  11. Thank you for the new option for AI overhead landing but while it seems good enough for bigger (civilian?) aircraft, its downwind leg is much much too long for military fighters. Examples: Landing at Batumi: AI F-14B makes slow approach at 1400ft (should be around 300-400kts), breaks over the end of the runway then extends downwind 5nm! (way way too long) all at 200kts (way too fast). Landing at Rota: AI F4U breaks over the end of the runway and then extends downwind to 2.5nm (way way too long). This is not how fighters do overhead pattern. Please fix, USN fighters can already do a nice overhead recovery at the carrier.

  13. It's already there on the Syria map, pal
  14. More details please or a track. You mean slots no 14 and 9 are blocking landing/parking?
  15. No, exaggerating don't help the case, but making excuses (either from other users or CMs) don't help it either. Somehow Caucasus got the extended range lighting treatment shortly after PG. We also don't see any bug fixing for Nevada.
  16. I said it's probably bad LOD model in game. I have the setting on max and it does not help.
  17. Of course, it's not meant for those players because it'd be no fun to them. The F-35 servers will probably be PvE and hopefully with some new Su-57 AI. Although there may be some slots left for MiG-29, Su-27 or JF-17 for anyone willing to face a challenge. I'm sure many ace redfor players will take a chance to take down the F-35
  18. Because their project manager selected other priorities for the team to work on. I try to avoid saying how easy it is to do though. And also from this very thread:
  19. Maybe certain features, yes, like high res mesh, but we're in the lighting thread and I'm sure because lighting visibility is just a number in the config and dynamic lights work independently of the map used.
  20. No, because carriers should turn into the wind every time there's launch or recovery, not only in cyclic ops. There are wars and battles in DCS, not only training and planned ops.
  21. This is external app. I doubt Razbam would do anything to support it anyway. Btw: coordinates don't change with the aircraft so can be converted using any other that uses same precision, my guess would be F-16.
  22. False assumption and this only confirms it. MP or not, you don't need any "matching", "balance" or nerfing for realistic representation of air operations with F-35.
  23. There's no "tech" that prevents updating the map lighting, no excuses.
