Works fine here. Make sure you're in nav mode. I had to hit 1 key twice to get it to work with waypoints after starting the mission. The numbers are shown on the HUD next to the distance.

There are plenty of apps, most are free (ex. gpu-Z) but also built-in windows task manager has RAM and GPU tabs if you keep it running in background. @Nealius Check the DCS special options tab for F-15E. You can try different CPU core settings for radar calculations.

Check if you hit VRAM or RAM limits in this case.

Guess you like to waste time of yours and ours either when you could have saved a short track and present a dcs.log a few days ago to get an answer in hours. It's probably what @Ivandrov says - you're stuck in AA because of Guns selected on Weapon Select Switch. Move to Sidewinder and you're free to select other modes.

You can choose USAF aggressors or Combined joint red forces to have full choice of aircraft. Make sure to also turn off historic filter (clock icon at the bottom) so the date doesn't limit your choices. It's Stennis (no deck crew atm) so you have to hook to the cat and launch yourself - there are keybinds for that, default U and Shift+U.

You still act like you didn't know so I'll reiterate. We're talking about fictional animated view of the RIO within the fictional comms menu (which is still functioning as designed). I don't know how it even got there in the first place, maybe from some artist's dream, but fortunately there is special option to turn it off. Have you noticed F-14 gets very little work since a year or so and there are some real bugs waiting to be fixed? It's reported, prepare for a long wait and move on.

Mig29 radar elevation not working
draconus replied to _burner_'s topic in Flaming Cliffs Bugs & Problems
OP specifically said radar and also says "It moves downward as expected" which excludes IRST. Also the thread got marked with "solution" already. -
Maybe @Flappie can report it to the ME team?

OS Upgrade to Win 11 24H2. Login Fails

Nah, the hosts file takes precedence over anything else. It may work as a quick workaround but I also encourage to resolve the issue because the IP may change after some time and it may be hard to troubleshoot then until someone remembers about the hosts file or make redirection tests. -
This is frequently asked question and yes, most of whom didn't refund the module are pretty satisfied with the Strike Eagle, far from "junk". Despite that we'd all love to get it back on track with updates, fixes and additions.

No, it doesn't work only in the first mission you run in DCS session. And, yes I tested in S&A campaign - no problem. The built-in mission autoloading actually make it non-issue as you don't have to remember about it.
-
It's not about making it easier for you but more realistic. If you want it your way just mod it. I've not seen any proof that it should be super bright.

Misinformation. See previous posts.

There was never official statement on this.

Go here: https://forum.dcs.world/forum/482-game-crash/ Make new thread, upload dcs.log.

Yeah, they added "save game" feature but it's WIP and very early access thing, definitely not ready for any mission state saving (no aircraft state, no flags memory, removed waypoint actions, messing with unit placement, etc.). You'll have to fly it old style from start to finish.

Manual p. 78 Whole "ELECTRONIC WARFARE CONTROL PANEL" is tagged in red (as "not used in this simulation of the F-15E").

F14 not authorized / antivirus / false positive
draconus replied to Semaphore's topic in Bugs and Problems
Misinformation. The malware file did not come from Steam. -
Both are normal. If you run the game and exit most of the data is cached in memory so the next loading is faster. Scanning while reading and running files takes time so if you won't allow the AV software to scan your game it'll load faster.

[Known Issue]Anti-skid permanently activated on starboard gear.

The test in the track is as follows: start hot release parking brake start rolling right with some throttle then brake with right pedal - normal braking start rolling left with some throttle then brake with left pedal - you can see both wheels locked Something needs to be checked, @Silhou. Web site says "DCS compatible" but to be sure of what it means you'd need exact details on the buttons and axes, info on if the emergency wing sweep lever is motorized (I doubt it) and such.
