  1. The way lights are made in DCS are done either through textures and/or 3D lamps, which both dictate brightness. So far I believe only the textures are showing the color and not much brightness. This can be fixed by HB, but night lighting is messed up completely outside of aircraft from ED.
  2. Bump. In light of the new community request thread started by NineLine for Mission Editor features, I hope to get more people to respond to this poll.
  3. Cried with this one for a long time: addable radio beacons and radio frequencies to airfields and strip areas. Had a poll for this a while back in the Wishlist but it never got attention. :( PLEASE bring this! https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=216968
  4. Paused until further notice, my job has taken over lots of my time alongside school. Junior year is a blast!
  5. You would likely fit in the crowd of people who complain about the state of what is shown and make developers rush their product causing an incompletion. Let Deka take their time instead of being impatient about getting videos. You're still going to be able to buy and fly the product.
  6. I'm not going to forget their past immediately after a new decision through their PR on working on the Gazelle and announcing the Kiowa. Polychop does have some criticism respectively due to them, and I quite frankly doubt that the community will forget about it until big changes appear. The work will speak louder than their words. Anyhow, looking forward to seeing this module like anyone else. I hope it turns out well.
  7. Not pointing fingers at another 3rd party, but Polychop mentioned their old sounds code for the Gazelle using an outdated API library. May the same be somewhat feasible for this issue?
  8. My Gamma is set to 2.5, I can see my MPCD's just fine. You may need to bring up Gamma for brightness. Your eyes adapt to having to better at night, so it should be higher during night time missions, and lower during day time.
  9. +1. Had this in BMS and I am so used to it and not having to set a new keybind.

    Livery Template

Apologies if this has been posted numerous times already, but this would just be nice to have overall. I understand that the development on the F-16C Viper may be more focused into bug-squashing and systems modelling, so having users being able to make their own liveries is appreciative. :)
  11. Can confirm, no back panel or 3D mesh to cover exposing the hole in the cockpit model for the altimeter gauge.
  12. You wouldn't yell at the ground chief through the canopy, would you? ;)
  13. Been flying the Falcon from BMS a while back and bought the F-16 in DCS. Transitioned really nicely and felt the exact same. I would like to state that I have an immense bias for Heatblur because of their excellence for customer service. However, I cannot leave ED in the dust for when it comes to this module. Even though the Hornet took way longer than anyone wanted, and to an extent still wish it was complete, it certainly shows that it has immensely helped with programming the systems of the F-16C. I don't know what else to say. I don't usually have textures sway my decision of buying a module as a selling point, I'm more into the systems functionality aspect of it. It feels real, it acts real in areas where the systems are modelled properly. It's going to be incomplete and people will not like it, because it just came out. If people want to complain about exterior lights or the way it looks in VR, at least wait half a year to a full one before you talk about how bad the product is on not having IFF 5 minutes after purchase. Overall: it's good ED, but please take your time if you need to. We're not in a hurry to get something like this.
  14. There have been plenty of new features added to the F-14B, just not the stuff we want that much. :)
  15. Floating bomb issue was fixed a while back. Wheel deformation exists, not exaggerated like the other aircraft shown though.
  16. Wishing for the same here, a short roadmap would be excellent to have. Even if priorities may change, it will give us an idea of what is going to be the ideal flow for Tomcat development. :)
  17. Bump. It has been 3 months. Has this been yet acknowledged as a bug?
  18. Just a small bump. I would like to bring back up on how we are all very looking forward to the F-14 Tomcat being complete. I think we all want that as badly as HB do themselves. However, we have not seen much in terms of "new content" in the OpenBeta changelogs besides constant bug squashing. Getting rid of bugs is always appreciated and very welcome as to the new model that other particular examples show, but we don't want it paused on the rails forever. I really wouldn't want to sound like a prick, but do we currently have any officialized or concrete-set roadmap for the F-14 by Heatblur? I.E. Dynamic Cockpit, Campaign content, F-14A, Forrestal, A-6E/KA-6, JA-35, and etc.
  19. Added. ;)
  20. Hello, everyone. I have been spending some time for the past few months working on an informative guide on the F-14A/B Tomcat on the Hoggit Wiki website. This guide is not as well reversed as the tutorial videos on YouTube, neither the F-14 guide by Heatblur Simulations themselves, but aims to give more information on the systems themselves and not the process of using them. You are able to view it here: https://wiki.hoggitworld.com/view/F-14A/B - Sirius
  21. I'm more than sure that people will use the Supercarrier as well, but I would like to be dependent on the Forrestal, mainly because I feel that you should utilize something you paid for. It's going to be a great feature like the Supercarrier, that I am certain of.
  22. Keep it how it is. The simulator should be able to adapt to the real world, not the developer's adapting to the sim engine's limits.
  23. This too! How did I forget this? A startup video would be much appreciated, even if simplified and able to be put in another video.
  24. I would honestly love to see both went over in 1 video, but defense systems are a must to me.
