  2. Weird . If it wasn't just the hornet , i'd recommend a powered usb hub , or entertain ugly thoughts regarding the x56 . Following up on the hornet-only indication , i would rename and move the associated folder in saved games/user/dcs/config/input/fa-18 , run a repair and rebind .
  3. Welcome to the forums ! Have you tried a repair ? This very useful utility makes it easy to do . https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=160053 Select the build (you will see a blue bar on either side) click on "repair"
  4. Has been since day one . It does not record video . Rather it records controller inputs . FF is particularly problematic . Keep it simple , short , and no FF for the best chance of working .
  5. Regardless of mic , i wonder how you are going to sound with the speakers going .
  6. I'd start here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4309022#post4309022
  7. I did this pre-VR . There was (is?) a free app in the google store "DCS Kneeboard" . It allowed you to create tabs , and import screenshots of whatever you wish . Very useful and very easy . I really can't recommend the Kindle . It is more a media consumption device than anything , and it's OS turns off several good Android features - USB hosting for one .
  8. AOA light comes on when : Either AOA is exceeded Or Speed below 400kph And When a missle is loaded Per Chuck's guide
  9. Was once an option to remove in L-39 settings . They changed it for god-knows-what reasons to ME . Doesn't make any sense to me , but it is what it is . Tip . You can save any instant-action mission in the ME (Save with a different name !) , and modify it however you like , including gunsight removal .
  10. Soi to tpod -slew , then designate . Soi to mav-uncage Soi back to tpod and leave it there Rifle 1st mav Slew and designate tpod only to rifle each remaining mav. Try resetting the mav slew/designate to realistic For the tpod , you do not have to hold the designate button while slewing .
  11. Yeah , i have no probs designating/locking with tpod and -65f's as posted .
  12. Interesting...very interesting . Thanks !
  13. Nice ! But i question your advice regarding DCS VR and NV-link .
  14. Have to agree . I think some are taking the fact that they are NOT irl fighter pilots far too seriously . Walter Mitty on steroids .
  15. You running DCS at your studio ?
  16. Well , we did bug the PM... :)
  17. 2070 super is ok . 1070ti not so much .
  18. Seems spot on to me :)
  19. A lot of Russian birds don't have toe brakes . Rather a brake lever on the stick used in conjunction with the rudder pedals is used for differential braking . Spitfire too .
  20. Have to +1 this one-if only because i like the name :)
  21. Very well done ! Great analysis .
  22. I find that with aircraft with overly-sensitive pitch trim , the workaround is to make minute throttle adjustments to fine-tune the pitch . If your trim state is slightly pitched up , just take a few rpm off , and she'll settle to level . "Stick and Rudder" - still the greatest book ever written on how an aircraft actually flies , describes why this works .
  23. I don't think i ever got a trophy for doing my best .
