I'm also having a problem that may be Config Manager related. No matter how I try to run DCS it always opens in VR mode.

The DCS Config Manager worked well for me until update 5. Now I can only launch the game in VR using the shortcuts or directly from downloaded files on my SSD. I see some people referring to disable VR launch but do not see an option to do so. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both the game and config manager numerous times with no success in getting the game to open non-vr since the last update. I play the sim in vr but want to be able to set up controls when I can see the keyboard and hotas which is a real pain in the arse under the hood. How can I disable VR launch?

The easiest method I've found is to use the DCS Configuration Manager after you've copied DCS World to your SSD. You can leave the original on the C drive and update/run the game on your SSD for performance. It gives you the option to start DCS in regular or VR mode if you wish. Thank you Gurby! That one worked for me. A snap to set up and run. It created the routing icons and turns headset speakers on for the sim and off when I exit reverting back to desktop speakers. Great app.

I have a GEForce GTX Armor 1070 8Gb GPU and experienced problems with the updated 399.xx driver. I reverted to the 388.13 and uninstalled 399.xx and conflict went away. So many variables and changes these past three weeks it's hard to tell if the new driver was the problem or not. I'm leaving it 'as is' for now hoping everything will stabilize. This is supposed to be fun.

My headset arrives today After experiencing numerous game crashes after the conversion I went with a clean install. Everything is running much better than before. Huge improvement. I can hardly wait to set up the VR and check out my new world.

Until recently railroads had telegraph lines running parallel to the tracks. As mentioned above electric trains would have power lines but they would be over the tracks.

I've moved DCS to game file on my SSD no problem. Regedit is set to route DCS to my SSD and I changed the address in the desktop icon properties. DCS 2.5OB launched successfully and I now have DCS files on both discs. How do I free up the space on the HHD? I appreciate your patience and assistance.

I had the same problem as you are experiencing and determined it to be caused by the NVIDIA driver upgrade. The driver for my GEForce Armor 1070, latest Windows patch and Oculus were in conflict. I couldn't find a driver for my gpu so contacted their live chat and asked for a link for the previous version. When installing an earlier version you will be asked if you want Express or Advanced install. Choose Advanced and click on the box for replacing the current v with the older one. I'd also recommend not installing the GEForce Experience as this has been an issue for others I see in the forums.
