This is actually getting stupid now. Loads of posts with the module showing up and then people wondering why they cant get it, other people waiting for the update to the open beta and not getting it even though change logs have been posted and yet zero information from the producers? People being told not to manually force the update yet this is often required because the updater doesn't actually pick up the updates anyway......Its all a bit unprofessional really.

Its not a bug! Its because you don't have the open beta update yet. None of us do......

Lets hope the Open Beta update isn't a stupid multi GB file or we are screwed.

Or simpler.....just run the dcs updater icon from the eagle dynamics start menu......or create a shortcut to it to make it even easier.

You didn't need to install a 3rd time. Just run the command line to switch your installation between release and beta versions. You can go back and forth as often as you like.

I think we have all bee there with the Nvidia CP AA options :smilewink: Im a little surprised there is no mention of the new options settings in the release notes this morning.......guess we have to figure it out. Not sure if SSAA should be a standalone setting or if its meant to be used in conjunction with the MSAA settings etc.

I see there is a new SSAA in game option in the beta update this morning.

If i recall correctly, none of the Nvidia CP AA options work in the deferred shader environment of DCS except for FXAA. Your 2x Super sampling is a placebo.

I had the same issue. DCS prompting me to install the new map but then fails. The Updater wasn't picking up the new version for some reason. This happens quite a lot and I end up having to force the updates.

God knows how all the 'grim reapers' got it. I mean, the videos they do are entertaining but the knowledge level is poor in many of them.

Shamus Allen did his RMC basic flight training at the same flight school in Kingston, ON a bit before I was there. He went on to fly the CF-18 for a few years and then went on to the Snowbirds.

I use the CH Fighterstick. I have the trigger assigned to "gun trigger' (PAC-2) and it works just fine. I have PAC-1 assigned to a hat switch on my throttle.

What was your approach speed? I find this happens if you land too fast and then the g-force warning sounds and then 'boooom'

Did the fix make it into any updates?

Smartscale in BMS 4.33 works really well. I believe research attached to it shows that its actually more realistic too in terms of real world visibility levels. Could certainly use something similar in DCS

"River Raider" - you cant see the bunkers. There are now trees there instead.

I cant stand the screen tearing. VSYNC is a must as far as I am concerned.
