  1. F16 probably wont go on sale for quite some time as its a very new EA module. A10 and AV8B always go in the sale, usually for 50% off.
  2. Hi there, I have all 3 of these modules. The F16 is making great strides since its release, but for me personally, I don't use it much due to the nature of so many things changing in each release version as it matures. It will be a great module but I just find it a bit frustrating right now. As you say, FBW so not much to it. Point it where you want to go......but boy, does she go. :) 2) AV8B - Love this aircraft and since release its been worked on a LOT to remove many bugs and add many features. Its been a slow process and we are still not there although its perfectly flyable for the most part. In all honesty, as much as I like it I just dont have enough time to go around as Im usually in the Hornet or the Warthog. Which brings us to the A10C.... Still my favorite. Super mature module, everything pretty much works as its supposed to, you will need to 'fly' it and use your trim hat switch a lot and the new updated cockpit is super nice. Lots of missions and campaigns available as well which really makes a huge difference. So much content you wont be bored for a very long time. Better still, wait for a sale again and buy two or all three!
  3. While I agree in general, there are far too many places to report bugs. So many sub forums that it gets a little difficult to keep track of everything. IMHO of course.....
  4. Ranger79 does a great, simple explanation job in this video.
  5. There is lots of reports of bad performance in the bugs section
  6. For the A-10, just use the power seat switch on the left hand side of the cockpit. Drop the seat down and the HUD will be fine. https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=223398&d=1576864847
  7. I find the Hornet very enjoyable. I could only have dreamed about a sim this complex when I first started back in the C64 days and then the Amiga etc. In fact, I was on my way to Montreal a few months back and ended up on the train sat next to a real CF-18 pilot on his way back to Bagotville, QC. He was full of praise for the DCS Hornet and said he was actually shocked how much was simulated and worked. I guess you cant please everyone......
  8. Whilst I understand that the team feels the technical details of the gun dispersion are correct, comparing what you see in the Jetstream strafe runs to what we actually see in sim is like night and day. Just my 2 pence worth......
  9. We already know about the P47 so its not that.
  10. They issued a new patent in it, it has a curved OLED display which will use a reflected lens to give 180 degree FOV https://uploadvr.com/samsung-wide-fov-patent/

  12. works fine for me on warthog throttle as long as binding is set to “idle/off”
  13. Differential braking on a takeoff roll? Wow, my old CFI would have ripped my balls off for doing that

  15. ILS is also a completely separate set of instrumentation from VOR's.
  16. Understood. My comment wasn't a dig at you but a general observation.
  17. Indeed. Love your youtube channel by the way..... Oh, and that Corvette :)
  18. And here is where the 'Early, Early Access' Viper causes people to learn bad habits that will eventually be fixed in the DCS module only to have people then complain that its not how it worked before.
  19. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4057508#post4057508 Fuel flow is WIP.
  20. Wags already mentioned this either in a post or a video.
  21. For the benefit of the uneducated one who just got a Rift S, what does the in game IPD actually do and where should it be set? It seems its totally unrelated to the headset IPD.
  22. Yes, and the current ED F18 is by far the best Hornet simulation ever released on computer platform. I would have sold my granny for a simulation like this back in 1999 when I used to play Jane's F15 and F18 or going back further, F18 Interceptor on the Amiga. :) I think we all need to take stock of where we have come from and marvel in the level of sophistication that these addons provide. Thats not even mentioning the DCS 'world' aspect. I understand that we don't have all the functions just yet, but ED have been adding things on a regular basis and what we do have is rather fantastic in my opinion.
  23. Last time I checked, those modes still not implemented.
