Core and Liveries zip is too big I think for OVGME 1.7.4 to handle, so I had to unzip these ones to a folder, then they would install properly. Alternatively, use the newer Open Mod Manager, written and actively supported by the same individual who coded OVGME originally. It handles the larger zips fine. https://github.com/sedenion/OpenModMan

Kneeboard files can be PNG or JPG format. I have good results with a 683 x 1024 file which I used as a template for all my kneeboards. Oh and I should add I play in 2k ultrahigh resolution: 3440 x 1440. Zyll @ TAW

I think it looks good, didn't even know they changed it. Does anyone have a before pic for comparison? Zyll @ TAW

Can you check if you are at 70 feet MSL with gear down? Zyll @ TAW

The DCS.lua is downloadable from that link. It's included in Moose, but you don't need Moose to use it. Zyll @ TAW

i realize i'm necroing an old thread, but the DCS.lua which is included in the Moose package has all the DCS scripting API prototypes, so if you just include this in your project, then you have intellisense for the DCS script language (more or less)

AMD 5800X3D, the new King for flight simulators?

Interesting, thanks for that info. Admittedly I don't quite understand undervolting to improve performance, it's always been overclock and overvolt for stability. If you are undervolting for performance reasons, and not to keep the system cool and quiet, can you help explain for a caveman like me? Zyll @ TAW -

I thought the 5800x3d cannot be overclocked using PBO. Am I mistaken? Zyll @ TAW -
I paid full price for a burger last week. This week they are offering a buy one get one free deal, which I buy. It would be nice to be able to give away the extra burger since I can't eat both, rather than throwing it in the trash. I think it's a good idea man. Zyll @ TAW

AMD 5800X3D, the new King for flight simulators?

Wow, I went through almost the exact same upgrade path as you! Asrock b350 Ryzen 1600X -> 3600 -> 5800x3d GTX 1070ti -> 6900XT if you haven't already, check for a bios update for your mobo prior to swapping chips, and be sure to turn on SAM (resizable bar). Totally in love with the fact this mobo lasted so long, and was so cheap from the start. Zyll @ TAW -
Unless I'm mistaken, I think that's only a stopwatch, and doesn't show current time Zyll @ TAW

Awesome, I'm glad it helped you as well. I think this is a very very recent update, it wasn't mentioned in the Change Logs to my knowledge, but for HOTAS nerds like us, it is certainly a welcome update.

Does this short video on button off positions help? Zyll @ TAW

Ahh I didn't understand the issue, my apologies. Maybe you could have the recovery tanker spawn later in your mission, so it doesn't run out of fuel too early and RTB. Zyll @ TAW

You shouldn't need to use Moose anymore for this tasking. Zyll @ TAW

Just a small note, running this mod prevented the Halloween pumpkin lights at the airfields from rendering (they were the usual taxiway lights). Yeah I was confused too, lol. Zyll @ TAW

AMD 5800X3D, the new King for flight simulators?

An AIO is more prone to break down eventually (mine did), whereas a huge block air cooler like the Noctua will never die (the fans could, they can be replaced). Also case depth and RAM clearance are things to watch out for with big air coolers. I have had both, I prefer air cooling. Zyll @ TAW -

Can you explain how the fuel check works, and would you do it while flying after hitting c-aux for the Robbie tank? I am fuzzy on this aspect of the Apache. Thanks! Zyll @ TAW
