Try pressing alt tab to get to the desktop, and then alt tab again and see if that helps. I run my game in 1080 on my 1440 monitor, and I have seen what you are experiencing, but can get around it in this manner.

If your radar gets stuck in a mode you can't get out of, I find switching weps (like going from AMRAAMS to sidewinders and back to AMRAAMS) resets my radar nicely

hi team, The attached screenshot shows in red, the missile range of 65nm for an S-300 launcher. The larger yellow rings show the detection range of the Big Bird search radar, and the Flap Lid tracking radar. The smaller yellow ring shows the detection range of the Clam Shell search radar. There is no terrain to affect the test. I expect that I should be engaged by the missiles right at the red ring, 65nm. In actuality, I'm getting engaged consistently at 35nm. Aircraft is at 25,000 feet. Is it possible that the range rings are incorrect across the board? I ask because Wikipedia tells me that the Big Bird should have a detection range of 190nm, but the game has range rings at 86nm. Clam Shell radar should have a detection range of 75nm, but the game shows 32nm. It seems as if everything is halved in the game, perhaps ranges are incorrectly being represented on the map with diameter instead of radius.

Keep in mind that being a semi active homing missile, the AIM-7 needs the hornet to maintain radar lock all the way to the bandit. You break lock early, the missile will miss.

and i believe the freezing occurs when these messages get so big and numerous. If you left the client logged onto the server and continued to get the errors, I feel like you would have eventually experienced a DCS freeze. ERROR EDTERRAINCORE: utm_private::fromLatLon Longitude

i have also reported this issue previously: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=4018790 I have done a repair, and I have gone and wiped out my Saved Games/DCS folder to eliminate mods, but it still occurred. Now I'm under the theory that its network related, though I have no clue why it would only happen to me on certain maps. I am currently testing this theory by running with a VPN, and without. sgray, perhaps you want to try this too (a free VPN to test with can be had here: https://windscribe.com/?friend=sk3an5ip <- referrer link :) ). So far, it seems to have made a difference, but I can't be 100% sure yet. Let's please compare notes here if we can figure this out.

i have used it for a while, without issue. The virus alerts started up later, and Santi is aware, but I am not concerned with the false positives (you can see my posts in that thread). But its up to you whether you want to use it or not. To the OP, this is the only way I know to accomplish what you want to do, there is nothing in-game that will serve your needs.

You may notice MEM on the TGP when you have done a sensor select depress. I found that when you are laser spotting in LSS mode, it will anchor over this MEM position, which is great for pointing your laser spot over a particular area. Added bonus it makes shift targets that much easier to find.

DCS voice chat as it stands right now is too rudimentary to replace the more integrated SRS in terms of functionality. It just has one channel for red, one for blue, and no integration with in-game radios (ie being able to tune a radio freq). We use SRS here in TAW when we run our Sunday Ops. If you need help setting it up, you can join the SRS discord and I'm sure someone can help, lots of helpful folks there.

To be honest, I think it used to be smoother, but that was many months ago, like perhaps 6-8 months. Then one patch it got much more difficult to use. Perhaps it's just my imagination.
