good to hear. when you are comfortable your problem is fixed, mark the topic solved. it will help others searching for a fix.

i personally do not have any issues. i have two mice, keyboard, and head phones. agreed. @paul2437 you can try and if it is causing issues, then get rid of it. how you are now doing seems to be buggy anyway so what is there to lose?

i am just wondering. does the mouse you have been using supposed to have software? like logitech or the like? it could be that you need to install the software. i am aware of issues created when manufacturer "drivers" are not used.

the amount of time the repair will take is going to be affected by the speed of your internet. the repair action will check your files and then replace any that are not standard files. if you have thousands of files to be repaired, it will take longer. it has to redownload those files.

i downloaded and put the skins in \Saved Games\DCS\Liveries\F-16C_50 and the skins showed up as a selection in Mission Editor. i think the readme is incorrect. well it would work there. but it also works in Saved Games.

there is more than 25% of 2024 remaining.

hello. it is recommended to get rid of all unofficial files that are in the main DCS program folders. honestly nothing should go here. all modifications should go in saved games. this way, when you update DCS, saved games files are not affected. yes make copies of modded files from everywhere, and then do the repair.

i knew the mouse polling was a solution for some users. me included in 2D. this is the first time i have heard that the fix did not stick after re-entering DCS. is the polling rate the same in the mouse settings? i checked my settings and the polling rate is the same and remains unchanged.

i have an 11th gen i9 and a 3090 card. the description of the setting says "fully minimize queued frames" i honestly do not remember when i changed this. i am sure it came from a YT creator video. it seems i get a good response from the setting. i think it is worth a shot. i really have no performance issues. note though i also have 128 GB of RAM. i see so many users having issues because of too little RAM. that is another option. i have found that when using VSYNC, only change the setting in DCS and leave NCP to "application controlled"

hello. NVidia control panel settings can improve DCS graphics. the NCP and DCS work together to allow the user to tweak settings. i have a 3090 card. i set some things in NCP and then set some things in DCS. this is what i have in NCP for DCS then this is what i have in DCS come back with any questions.

hello. as mentioned, do not use any reshaders and you will not have issues.

hello. just to assist @BIGNEWY. remove all the unofficial mods. run a repair. then retry DCS. if it works, great, and it was probably a MOD. if not, then attach your latest DCS.LOG

Failed update check 09-17-24
silverdevil replied to DmitriKozlowsky's topic in Installation Problems
are you able to restart your network equipment and your computer to get all the DNS flushed and updated? if it still does not work there is either a routing problem somewhere between you and DCS or DCS servers are having an issue. https://nordvpn.com/blog/502-bad-gateway/ this is for websites but the premise is the same. Server overload. Web servers get overloaded in many different ways. For example, a website may have unusually many visitors or experience a DDoS attack. Then you, as another visitor, can’t access the server and receive the 502 bad gateway message. Backend server issues. Sometimes, the problems are more complicated and are related to the backend configurations of the website. In this case, only the developers can discover what’s wrong and fix the 502 error. Network problems. Some causes are much more straightforward – connectivity issues could be preventing servers from communicating with each other. It can be due to router misconfiguration or something as trivial as a loose physical cable. Security software. Some network problems can be related to security software. A firewall on the gateway server or intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) could suspect malicious activity and interfere with the communication. Configuration errors. If either of the servers has any configuration issues, they fail to communicate, causing a 502 bad gateway error. DNS issues. Misconfigurations sometimes occur in the domain name system (DNS) servers. The gateway server can’t resolve the IP address of the backend server, and your browser shows you the 502 bad gateway error. Temporary glitches. Often, 502 errors occur due to temporary glitches or server hiccups that resolve themselves without intervention. -
hello. please mark your topic as the solution. that way other forum users will not (hopefully) reply to this topic with another issue with no relevance to your issue.

hello. google authenticator is an app on your phone. if you can, you need to scan the ED QR code. if you cannot, you must contact ED support.

Been away 6 months - frequent crashes on my return (UH1, CH47)

BN meant to attach to your reply here. that way others can review too. that way take some stress off the normal mods of forum. if you just submit through game, you may not get an answer. -
hello. it could be a transient issue or and issue with you system / home network. i just ran DCS and had no issues. Eastern VA, US. you could try to restart your home network and pc to see if that helps.

the native keyboard command "printscrn" will work. you have to paste each one into another program to save them. also look in the controls of DCS UI layer.
