  1. smoothing or dynamic deadzone reduces jitter on an axis in VPC config software
  2. The throttle is at 100% when fully rotated anti-clockwise Fully rotating it clockwise hits the "Idle" detent at about 50%, you then press the IDLE button down and you can then rotate the throttle into lower than idle zone toward 0% The huey matches the direction of travel eg anti-clockwise == increases huey throttle, this is the only helicopter that does this in DCS Mi-8 and mi-24p both operate the opposite way, clockwise rotation == increases the throttle
  3. physical buttons are two types - real ones that exist and "fake" ones that axis to buttons create When I create these manually (main axis tab) I start from 128 and count down The tick box ones (inside settings for an axis) are auto generated the logical ones are the buttons that windows sees, you cannot have a break in this list , a gap in this list will cause anything after it to be ignored encoders are either buffered (which means fast clicks get stored and then passed into windows) or unbuffered which means fast rotation maybe miss clicks My extensive list of tutorials cover all this stuff
  4. yeah kinda radio silence from ED
  5. You mean the tick boxes presets for axis to button are using physical buttons that are currently in use ? You might want to report that on virpil forums as that sounds like a bug
  6. The thing about profiles is they are device specific eg I use a V1 virpil throttle if you use a different throttle the profile would be useless to you
  7. dunno what you guys are going on about, I said axis to button bindings when replying to Alligin you break your axis into 3 button ranges, so your lever can control 3 flaps settings by generating button presses when within these ranges
  8. the axis will still be active if thats what you are asking
  9. not with the Virpil config software
  10. @BIGNEWY Do you need any more info on how to re-create this bug ? So I can get this reported
  11. Dunno, was 9 months ago, canny remember what I did 9 days ago
  12. Yes, thats the idea buy DCS modules and give them away
  13. You could use a trackball ?
  14. ah that time of the month again when this lame idea is put forth again If you want to support DCS / Eagle Dynamics, there is nothing stopping you OP from buying extra modules and giving them away to others
  15. I love that you spelt it like that , indeed it is laggy code
  16. If you adjust it in turns you better have beefy arms, tweaking mine quarter turn was about right (on both)
  17. yes it is allowed, pretty much every server out there has an account for it
