  1. strange, i don`t see the autoexec.cfg in that folder.
  2. thanks matt, i remember you said ED had fine-tuned the f18`s performance to protect real-world user, so we`re not doing that on f-16 ? with current G-on-set in DCS, it`s almost impossible to extract the maximum rate perf of the F16, normal F16 pilot should be able to endure 9G for atleast 15 sec? right now in-game endurance is way below that time. does ED have any intentions looking into that ? thanks
  3. then start using 80% of fuel on hornet vs 50% fuel viper. if you looking at rate fight, adjust fuel to compensate for the rate is the only choice right now. 50/50 won't do any good, hornet still has the upper hand on rate fight.
  4. when drawing conclusions about flight perfromance, make sure we include the fuel load so we know the GW of both aircraft. ps: Viper's performance is WIP
  5. i'd request increase the contrast of brightness of the mfd, it's really hard to read sometimes

  7. TACAN will do the same thing like the VOR, but I`m not sure current build has a fully functional TACAN.

  9. i closed the page when i see i don't own the product. Deka has sme on the sd10 performance, i trust the number and perfromance any day. players opinion often doesn't matter.
  10. the pilot in real world have tried already. like i said, only thing damage in that fight was the RIO`s neck. Try to search the story of Joe “Hoser” Satrapa, he was the F14 driver for TOPGUN, had famous 12.2G gun break on the cat. again, real world is real world. has nothing to do with game. if we are talking about the game, take a look from this perspective. typical BFM fight is about 3 to 5 mins. you or your enemy is not pulling the lever all the time. yes, the accumulated fatigue may affect the aircraft in long run, but what do we do in the game after we score the kill in BFM ? we eject for next round. I agree with previous post reguarding the pilot G tolerance and various radar problem, that should be looking after for somewhat "realism"
  11. game has nothing to do with real world. yes i did.once i saw someone talking about real world, i shut the page down. a game is a game.Period. that`s the point i grasp.
  12. the lever was there for the threat, in BFM, enemy is the threat. don`t see any problem o people using it. if they use that often, end result will be a G-loc for them. and if a 10G pull breaks up the aircraft, probably that aircraft will not be put into combat pilots hand. ever heared D-hose`s 12G gun break in F14 ? :smilewink: only damage on that fight was the rio`s neck.
  13. I also recommand you guys check everybody`s Open beta version before the fight. for those guys who like to use F14, the version 37626, which did not had flap drag tuned, are still being able to connect to MP server. creating the performance discrepancy in MP game.
  14. there is no sets of moves or single maneuver could win the Dogfight, if you have such experience, it means the enemy didn`t know how to fight. Youtobe is a great thing. someone upload the Art of Kill long time ago, it was the the instructional video on 1v1 dogfight by a F16 IP. I think it is more useful than just someone said : This move will let you win.
  15. i'd say for bvr air to air, it's somewhat combat ready, somewhat combat proven, but still has lot of room to improve. as for close air cimbat, ACM stuff, it has a long way to go. for air to ground, it has year to go
  16. there are dogfight server all over the place TAW dogfight server had good fuel load, why don't you guys get up and do the fighting then show us the in-game clips to prove your point. keyboard warriors are no fun at all.

  21. as for block 1, pitch channel is FBW for block 3, is full FBW.
  22. MIG21 is cheap, but did you know what`s the turn around time and how that engine perform in most demanding time in combat ? :lol::lol: do not assume:drink:
  23. I don`t recommend turn off the gun limiter. gun will probably jammed for that. then you need to re-feed the gun.
  24. no changes. what does public think has nothing to do with how they should and are making the SD10. period.
  25. try the sensor subpage on key binding. Rshif + ; and . hopfully this one will gets a look at it.
