To the best of my knowledge the Mig-23 is next up for RAZBAM. Considering how long it takes to development these modules, it’s reasonable to think that’s three to five years out, with a follow-on Mirage III at least twice that. But if ED has approved it as a RAZBAM module, then that removes it as an option for other devs. But I’ll still prefer it over the Starfighter.

True. However, I assume just planning for it sometime in the future wouldn't have precluded Aerges from making it now.

Truthfully, I'd have preferred the Mirage III to the F-104.

More so than how to correct it, I'd say the question is why is it happening in the first place. I fly the Hornet frequently and never have that happen.

I’m with you, brother. But as you’ve already sampled, the push back will be severe and sustained. After all, even if you have real world fighter experience, there are people here with at least 2 or 3 times as many hours of simulated dogfighting. So, like, they know better. To quote from Battlestar Galactica regarding your suggestion, “All of this has happened before. All of this will happen again.”

That issue exists for all modules. It doesn't explain why the F-5's wings are so much easier to break than the others.

Judging from the posts in this thread and others, I don’t think any of us REALLY understand what it takes to reach the level of an official third-party module. They did what they wanted, at the level they wanted, and are clearly satisfied with the result. That approach may not be for you or me, but it was for them. I’d recommend trying to not be so judgmental.

They aren’t a Third Party Dev. They are hobbyists who,I believe, have no desire to go “official”. And most people are grateful for their outstanding effort, as is. Yes. But if it’s that or nothing, I’ll take it.

Not really. Enigma’s Cold War server does exactly that and is one of the most popular servers

Exactly Plus, server admins can set it up so that players do NOT have to install a mod in order to log into the server. In the case of the A-4E, a player without the mod will just see an Su-27 rather than an A-4E.
