  1. Okay, nevermind. I set the wingman to "client" instead of player, and that worked. So, this thread can be clsoed.
  2. Already tried. The option just isn't supported
  3. It’s possible in BMS to fly as any member of a flight, rather than only flying lead. It would be nice to see this make its way to DCS.
  4. In the hornet's special option tab, there's a box that says "realistic TDC slew"
  5. My pleasure :) Your product is just too good. I had to spread the word.
  6. Is this real? Will they make more than four of them at a time?
  7. "Luke, you've switched off your targeting computer. What's wrong?" That was awesome.
  8. Just received and installed mine yesterday. Absolutely incredible. Made a post on Hoggit to show it off:
  9. It requires almost 800 KIAS at around 38,000ft. You can always google "mach calculator"
  10. Make sure you're on the correct runway. If you're not on the runway that the ATC gives you, Jester thinks you're still taxiing.
  11. Approach speed is not specified because it changes depending on your weight (loadout, fuel state, etc). "Approach speed" is whatever speed you need to travel in order to maintain optimum AOA, as indicated by the indexer lights. That's why the lights are labeled as Fast, Slow or On Speed.
  12. Zoom in and read the radio subtitles :)
  13. I'm looking forward to having to remember buttons for Boss, Marshal, Strike and Crown
  14. I'm actually quite happy that this level of simulation is beyond the reach of current technology.
  15. That's the part you're missing. Pushing the handle down isn't what engages auto mode. You have to select auto mode using the wing sweep coolie hat on the throttle.
  16. can you record one of your landings?
  17. The horizon offset doesn't change unless you change it manually. The AOA requirement for level flight changes with speed, wight, altitude, etc. If you're using the HUD as a primary flight instrument, adjusting your AOA may make it look as though the horizon is changing position, but it isn't. Use the VDI or the ADI. The HUD is a backup for the VDI, not the other way around.
  18. IIRC from Wags' interview on the Fighter Podcast, first priority is getting the humidity system integrated into the weather engine, and then they're going to use that to create a new cloud generation system. I'm sure it'll look fantastic once they've got it all working.
  19. I've actually been wondering if it should be made to look more fuzzy and difficult to see.
  20. You can try using the dlc up control to retract the maneuver flaps and leading edge slats if they're breaking on takeoff. If they're breaking on landing, you need to land softer.
  21. It's the breakaway X. The WCS is telling you you're getting too close, and might fly into the target. Its a reminder not to target fixate.
  22. This might help:
  23. Are hook skip bolters modeled in the tomcat? I've had it happen a few times in the hornet, but I've never had it happen in the kitty.
  24. The B isn't even on stable branch yet. Patience is a virtue.
  25. I’s say that in a guns only fight, the 18-C and the 14-B are nearly even, with a slight advantage to the hornet because its easier to fly. I would run like hell if i have any reason to suspect the hornet has sidewinders. Dealing with the AIM-9X is deeply a unpleasant experience.
