  2. i confirm this visible in pilots seat, when you look behind you from right side. only every other triange is visible. might be some issue with culling/normal vectors. also notice the errorneous shadows of the screws and the metal plate they are on.

  4. Sadly, this is no longer the case. Armed boats have almost no wake at all. They are invisible until you are right on top of them.
  5. in yesterdays wags video, wags locks a target in GMT AG radar mode and the designation follows the moving target. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GGy19WNRiYA) it indeed must be a bug that TGP PTRK does NOT follow the moving target.
  6. just a reminder that magvar is different depending on the mission date. every year has different value.
  7. I confirm this. Also when the POD etc. are displayed, the texture of display itself so to speak, isnt overlayed on it. Which makes the screen able to show pitch black color in POD page, while showing "less black" when you turn the screen off.
  8. Yeah, its because Syria doesnt have recorded lines for airfields, so its bugged. It happens if you fly on caucasus and then on syria.
  9. better yet, ovgme/jsgme. manually editing files for each mod after each update is a good way to lose sanity. thx for the mod, it will be useful
  10. I dont know how it is now, but IIRC it used to work from behind as well in DCS hornet, simulating JEM.

  13. Thats just how computer graphics work. I have read about someone modifying some lua file in the game to increase resolution of shadow textures, maybe it could help. Cant find the thread though.
  14. correct. you do NOT select the missile from PCA panel. that only enables using the magics as sort of discount IRST, but they are still not selected for firing. to select magics for firing, you need to select them from the HOTAS hat (dont remember the name now).
  15. hello, title is self-explanatory. On non-flat terrain, radar ranging and radar-altimeter ranging should show different solutions. They dont. Radar-altimeter ranging is just as good as radar ranging, even though it should be completely wrong in mountainous areas. Throughout the track/video, i keep switching radar ranging on and off every 1-2 seconds. The only thing that changes is distance on the right side of HUD and pipper unwinding.   16. hello, when you enable or disable the waypoint symbols on VTB, then exit the mission, then run it again, they are displayed or not displayed according to how they were left in the previous mission. This indicates the module code likely doesnt initialize the relevant variables, and just runs with whatever is left in the piece of memory that DCS gives it. That might be a bigger problem. Track: none, because you cant record tracks across missions. Just replicate what you see in the video. MIZ file is attached. mirage_waypoint_bug.miz

  18. hello, when performing the MAV scan pattern with Magic missiles on both wings, the width of the pattern should be 70 degrees according to manual: However when you test it in game, the pattern is far smaller horizontally - only about HUD's width. This makes the mode pretty much useless. If the target is outside HUD horizontally, the target will not be found. Not only is it not 70 degrees, but its not even those 40 degrees of one missile.   19. hello, according to manual in description of SVI: It searches in a spiral pattern originating from the centre of the HUD and completes the search in roughly 2 seconds. this appears to be true the first time you lock a target with SVI. it takes several seconds indeed. however if you unlock the target and then try to lock it again with SVI, the target gets locked instantly. not even 50ms delay - instantly. it doesnt matter where i put the target, center or any of the edges of the pattern, the locks are always instant. video: track attached mirage_instant_svi.trk

  21. hello, when you put radar into SIL, the caret on the left side of VTB, indicating vertical position of antenna, still moves. not entirely sure about this one, but i guess it shouldnt move. mirage_sil_bug.trk
