  1. designations with jhmcs are bugged, yes. always have been. its not multiplayer related.
  2. No, its not reflection. Im flying straight but its rapidly moving left and right around the radar screen. It happens at night too.
  3. your picture is extremely low res.
  4. I confirm this. Also whats weird: if you press the zoom in key too fast, and then press zoom out key, TGP will zoom in a bit instead of zooming out. As if finishing the prematurely stopped zooming in.
  5. It happened to me on Laughlin airport in Nevada as well. The markings disappear in Mission Editor if theyll miss during gameplay. This way i can close it and reopen the mission to make them appear again. I have not yet seen it on current OB though. So far good.
  6. should the knob rotate around infinitely though? it jumps from maximum value back to minimum value easily.
  7. it is now behaving the same way as all other modules in dcs except mig-19. so disregarding subjective opinions, it is at least consistent with rest of dcs now.
  8. thanks for answer. this possibility did not occur to me. though check the PS part in original post.
  9. and your DDIs are white... are you using some mods?
  10. if i recall correctly, this bug is in DCS since 2.5.0 which would make the bug exactly 3 years old in 2 days.
  11. 99.9 nm range appears if the target is jamming. Thats intentional.
  12. Yep, several new bugs have appeared in AA radar. Pic attached is "fake" priority trackfile which sometimes appears. Notice how cursor was placed on it, but HAFU doesnt replace the cross (because its not a real trackfile). They sometimes appear in Dugout too.
  13. Keep in mind JF-17 has to sacrifice one of its very few pylons for jammer pod, otherwise it cant jam. And a whole dedicated external jammer pod is probably supposed to be superior to some small basic builtin jammer. F-16 will also have an external jammer pod, and if The Other Sim is correct, it will be omnidirectional jamming and wont disrupt the radar either. Just like JF-17. Also, the RDR PRI function is not implemented yet.
  14. They have a lot of plans. My point isnt the calculation. Its the necessity of changing the API and breaking compatibility with existing scripts. Thats intentional. Visual LOS on flat map cannot be bent to act like round map, but radio/radar easily can be made to act as if on round while on flat. Better something than nothing.
  15. It certainly wont be. Adding spherical maps to DCS would require entirely redoing the mission Lua API. Otherwise mission creators wouldnt even be able to compute correct distance between two units lel. Just adding the same "filter" as AA radar and ground radio beacons already have, would be enough.
  16. I cant prove it for sure, but it doesnt seem to do that in DCS. And there probably arent publicly available docs to say whether it should do that.
  17. Its not resolved at all. Its exactly the same as before. Picture and track made on 2021-01-27 Open Beta patch. time_bug.trk
  18. Same. I locked ship with SEA AG radar mode, fired Harpoon in RBL and it overflew the target and self destructed. With some experimentation, i found out that if you make the Harpoon fly low and on the axis of target's movement, it has higher chance of detecting the target. I suspect its because the Harpoon is flying to coordinates of where the target was at the time of launch, but the target will have already moved couple miles away.
  19. Just noticed the negative time bug at the bottom of the displays. Im sure there used to be a bugreport about it, but i cant find it anymore. Was it deleted? Is it reported?
  20. After a bit of fiddling with gain switch, it looks just fine
  21. Because in all other planes in DCS it works the other way. Seems unlikely Harrier specifically has a totally different north arrow behaviour. And again, its useless. You already know where north is from aircraft point of view from multiple other instruments, including HUD. Exactly. What you describe is not possible with the current north arrow in Harrier. Compare Harrier with Hornet for example. Rotate the TGP around the plane and watch the north arrow and see for yourself. Its difficult to explain in words.
  22. BIT is the only page where the tint works with exports. For some reason...
  23. If i enable exporting displays, the blue tint of the display glass disappears. Its still visible around the page content itself though. This issue appeared in todays patch. Previously, it only happened with TPOD page. Now it does with all pages. However the doubled brightness of map on EHSD got fixed today, so overall an improvement still
  24. the north arrow is unfortunately bugged. it displays direction to north in relation aircrafts point of view, not direction to north in relation to TGP point of view. in other words, as you move designation 360 around your plane, the arrow wont rotate at all. making it entirely pointless. razbam says its correct though.
  25. no. those three fields each set one digit. together, its exactly one laser code. not three laser codes, one laser code.
