  1. BN said fixing this bug would require a big rework of netcode so its not happening in foreseeable future
  2. M3 tape's pilot's guide says Lock VMU message is one of those that can be heard by the pilot (16PR16226, page 49, year 2004). So unless later tapes docs specifically say that this function was removed (I cant find any evidence of that, as later tapes docs arent publicly available), it should apply.
  3. apparently they can even land backwards.
  4. the landing in formation behaviour is broken for AI. sometimes they jump up and down, sometimes they fly underground, sometimes they do this: you have to give them command to RTB and then you land individually. this is a functional workaround for now.

  8. hi flappie, i have now replayed the track i posted in OP and i dont see any black rectangles anymore. seems like it was fixed!
  9. you say you have EW page on your left display. why not just look at the emitter names there? it tells you exactly whats the thing illuminating you and whether that thing is searching, locked, or firing.

  14. its always been like this in dcs, its a limitation of the netcode. nothing to do with f-16, all planes are affected. btw another similar limitation is that only 32 animation arguments are synced which for example means that m-2000c leading edge slats dont move when viewed by other players. lots of funny stuff in the netcode.
  15. it might be because of your very wide screen. have you tried the standard 1920x1080 and see if the problem remains? might be worth a try and perhaps explanation why flappie doesnt see it. DCS has many ancient bugs in deciding whats in sight and what isnt.
  16. It appears Ju-88's lowest LOD has 110k triangles. This means that even if a Ju-88 occupies only 10 pixels on your screen, it will still be rendered with 110k triangle detail.

  19. correct, the texture isnt cleared from previous runs. therefore affects even day-day combinations.
  20. Unfortunately, this doesnt work on Attack format in DCS. Very very painful bug.
  21. this bug is as old as supercarrier module. solution is to leave your slot and reselect it again, instead of simply respawning.
