  1. Oh, I don't know then. Maybe Bignewy or NineLine could help you further.
  2. Try this:
  3. Nice surprise indeed; finally the M2000C gets some love.
  4. This sums it right up. I totally agree. And - as to what it entails - it would really behoove ED to have a quiz (just a few important questions) to unlock access to purchase EA product. This quiz could ask simple questions whether the user is ready/able/willing to deal with what early access means. If any question is answered "no", ED should then recommend to wait for the final release of the complete product down the line. If the questions were answered all "yes", and access to purchase an EA module was granted, then at least the onus lies on the user having gained access to the EA product, and not on ED providing an early access module.
  5. Absolutely this. It's almost like being a test pilot (which is one aspect of the things I personally enjoy during early access), and over time things improve - patch after patch.
  6. Well, this is hopefully coming some time in the future: https://bergisons.simpit.info/motion-integrated-g-seat (I personally would love this to happen sooner than later). And, we already have Andre's JeatSeat (https://andres.shop/12-jetseat), which gives some tactile feedback as well; not so much useful for feeling Gs, but useful to feel the onset of high AOA which would be a precursor to bleeding too much speed in a hard turn. I love the one I have, and it really helps to get some feedback from the plane in DCS.

    Wolken ...

Bin da auch nicht angemeldet, aber jemand hat davon ein screenshot gemacht:
  8. Klasse - das wusste ich nicht. Werde das mal testn.
  9. That's just the state of the current hardware and VR tech, not limited to the Reverb; that's a side effect with all HMDs that I've tried - Oculus CV1, Samsung Odyssey+, and HP Reverb. However, with Reverb's native resolution being the highest of the bunch, there's no need to dial in Steam VR's Super Sampling as high as you would have with the other two, so there's far less ghosting for me than before using less SS. Oh, and the clarity the Reverb provides speaks for itself. So my Reverb is here to stay.
  10. There's one screenshot floating around that ED for some reason shared on that privacy violating website that has nothing to do with DCS and ED - but they didn't share it here on their own forums... Anyway, looks pretty good:
  11. For me, that rattling sound is always there when I fly the CEII Quick Action Mission on NTTR map, solo flight. After landing, opening the canopy, the sound is there, 100%.
  12. I am sure we're all looking forward to it. And then next year the Black Shark III module, too :)
  13. You can take similar screenshots by using the F2 camera of your own plane and then rotating it to clip into another parked AI aircraft's cockpit. What's there to deal with?
  14. I like that idea! So a +1 from me. Edit: While on it, ED should use spin buttons or a slider accessible with the mouse to allow us to change that setting; right now, wearing a VR HMD, one has to fumble blindly to get enter these values on the keyboard.
  15. Beats having facebook snooping around your hard drive using Oculus software...
  16. Ok, found some info on it - thanks for the pointer: "Paveway II laser-guided bombs use what is known as "bang bang" guidance. This means the bomb's fins deflect fully, rather than proportionally when it is attempting to guide to the laser spot. For example, if it sees the laser spot and determines that it should make a change it deflects its fins until it has over-corrected and then it deflects back the opposite direction, creating a sinusoidal type of flight path. This type of guidance may be less efficient at times, however is more cost effective and allows the use of simpler electronics in the guidance system." Source
  17. Thanks for the visualization.
  18. @Dee-Jay: Thank you - this is very useful as well. Didn't consider that lasing too early can affect the bomb itself that way.
  19. @Frederf "PII under laser guidance is distinctive." <<< could you clarify this a little?
  20. This is very useful info, Frederf - thank you. The below is a key learning point for me, so thank you for the write-up!
  21. Also, interesting notes on the GBU12 and time of lasing. Wasn't aware.
  22. So after releasing the bomb, I usually maintain a turn 30 degs left or right to allow the TGP to maintain line-of-sight until impact; is that what this means? Thanks.
  23. Can’t say I Have. Could you share some insights?
  24. @IronMike - what a kick-ass "There I was" story. Love it.
  25. @Elysian Angel - for me, those higher numbers make everything just a little too small. I always try to match my hand size to that of the virtual pilot in DCS where I can; when no pilot is available, I am looking at the virtual control stick vs my own joystick and try and match that - hence the 48-50 world scale in DCS. My actual IPD is 69, which would - sitting in a DCS plane - feel like sitting in a scale model of it.
