  1. With the exception of this: "Does not upgrade your existing Gunfighter’s gimbal; your current grip’s electrical connection will also remain the same!"
  2. Thanks for the review. Of course I am biased, but I share the same sentiment about my Gunfighter Mk.III. IMHO, it's an important evolution of the Gunfighter series, including some under-the-hood stuff I personally greatly appreciate - coming from the GF Mk.I and Mk.II myself - such as: less internal wires, and improved wire quality, addition of one more Micro Control Unit (MCU), allowing for improved sensor reading and less packet loss. The new Avia S(oft) cams feel a lot better in the center: still smooth enough, but they return to center a lot better than the previous cams. I've put 2x #40 springs per axis, and I currently use the 10cm straight extension.
  3. Looking forward to that one! Thanks for sharing.
  4. This "DCS World 2020 and Beyond - con't" Newsletter is a very substantial one, with lots to look forward to. Thanks ED for shedding a light on what's coming, and thanks for your continued delivery of quality products and enhancements for DCS. Rock on!
  5. Awesome setup - and all-in-one as well! The holy grail of simming right there.
  6. Had a real-life pilot here a little while ago, showcasing some DCS modules for him, so he was using VR for the first time in his life. It got to the point where he felt so sick he actually had to use the bathroom to throw up... and call it quits.
  7. For us uninitiated, this is always a good site to remind us of our gullibility: https://www.skeptic.com/ Or, we could try this:
  8. Guten Rutsch ins Neue!
  9. Gibt's da nen Link ausserhalb von Faceyuck? Wei wir Gutmenschen das ja generell blocken: ;)
  10. Depends. If these points have already been clarified by RL pilots, and us armchair pilots keep beating a dead horse, one should be entitled to remind everyone about it. ;)
  11. Seems to be in the right forum area then:
  12. Yep, he does the videos for VKB's official YT channel... (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAIB6Y3RLKEpanqiPv62fkA/videos)
  13. Same here. If ED could monetize these kinds of cosmetic items, I'd be buying those as well.
  14. Yeah, doesn't make sense why there is no pilot in there. So, +1 from me as well. ... c'mon ED - you can do it. :)
  15. VKB provides quality instruction videos on the product pages for upgrade kits - the one for the 'Upgrade Kit Lite' are found here (scroll towards the bottom):https://vkbcontrollers.com/?product=gladiator-upgrade-kit-lite-w-mcg-bundle-2
  16. My compromise would then be to settle on the MiG-35. ;)
  17. This bug seems to only happen in certain conditions, I forgot which exactly, but I do seem to remember it happened after landing and stopping/starting the engine again and then taking off, or something along those lines. It's not always an issue, and I haven't seen it in a while myself.
  18. I just wish we had an option to copy an already working aircraft's SSA values over a a new aircraft so we at least get the basic functionality before f4l0 does it for us. The time between a module's release and the actual SSA adaptation takes longer and longer. Maybe forking it into open source so others could maintain it more swiftly would be a solution if f4l0 is unable to do so. Either way, I am looking forward to SSA support for the JF-17 someday soon.
  19. True. I came from the O+ as well and initially didn't believe the Reverb could improve on it, but boy was I wrong. The clarity the Reverb offers is a tremendous step-up from the O+
  20. +1
  21. I think you're right. Their first module - the M2000C, was basically a FSX port which slowly was improved to DCS standards. FSX never cared about much in terms of flight mode fidelity, and systems depth. It seems it's easier to develop to flight sims that are light in scope compared to DCS (probably also more money to be made for less effort).
  22. Once VKB HQ provides us with all the details we need to create the respective product pages for the various UCM options, we will be able to open up ordering shortly thereafter.
  23. Not sure why the quality, availability, or level of completeness is measured by the amount or videos available online.... did we sink that low? Anyway, buy the module, learn it, and grow with it - that's what early access is for after all. Needless to say, the DCS F-16 is friggen awesome already.
  24.
