  1. Put it this way - if I were in Decoy's shoes, I would have thrown in the towel some time ago, as nobody needs their passion for our mutually shared hobby tainted with negativity from the community.
  2. So no regular updates here then? (not sure why advertising a third party website that is so well known for its disregard for privacy and other violations around that same premise would be beneficial to anyone)
  3.
  4. BRI = Brightness, so you can adjust the brightness of the digital HSI using the same button.
  5. You nailed it though - and I experience the same. I went from an Oculus Rift CV1 to a Samsung Odyssey+, and landed on an HP Reverb, which is superior in clarity to those HMDs I've owened thus far. With that in mind, I have no issue with readability in the Viper, either. In fact, my go-to for VR readability testing is flying the Christen Eagle II from the backseat, and if I can read the speed gauge decently well (which is not that close to the pilot as you might be aware of) I know that I am pretty much set for most of the DCS modules I own in terms of being able to read the most important instruments.
  6. @Demongornot - thanks for the insights, that's interesting indeed!
  7. Same here. A while back, I found some really concerning entries in my firewall log about Discord attempting to connect where it shouldn't connect to so I deleted it right away (note this was on Ubuntu, so I don't even dare to try running it on Windows).
  8. $499 per eye ;)
  9. Very useful info right there. Thanks for sharing.
  10. Dem kann ich mich anschliessen. Habe gerade mal nach Game Controller gegooglet - das fand ich da: Sowas verkaufen wir nicht. ;)
  11. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Yep, same here. But then again, we're all very passionate about our mutual hobby around here, and patience isn't everybody's strong suit.
  13. Genau!
  14. Looks all good on my end as well - nothing has changed in terms of clarity in VR for me. Did you do the obligatory fxo and metashaders2 deletion after DCS updated itself?
  15. Versuch mal diese Option abzuschalten:
  16. A lot of us share the same sentiment. I never understand why Razbam (or others) rather advertise a third party website (e.g, facebook, reddit) instead of going to where their customer base hangs out first and foremost - namely right here.
  17. That's good to hear! And yes, I agree - he's got the patience of a saint among this (often times) difficult-to-deal-with community.
  18. Never botched a single landing in the 16 and I've been flying her daily since early access release day. She's really easy on the pilot. What exactly are you referring to that goes wrong when you're landing her?
  19. Wow - this is literally going the extra mile to satisfy a simmer's curiosity here - going right to the source; can't really top that. Thanks Wags!
  20. Thank you! :)
  21. The shaking pilot has been fixed - thank you devs! But - the strange jittery sound that accompanied the shaking pilot is still there. Easy to observe after landing, with canopy opened and engine off. Can this be fixed as well?
  22. We also got the Viper a lot sooner compared to when we got the F-18's first Early Access release after its announcement. So, there no complaining here about the current state of the Viper's Early Access release since we've got it so much sooner to have fun with. That said, I cannot wait to see it grow into its full capability over the next coming months,
  23. Jup, die Viper ist schon genial gut in DCS, und das schon im Early Access. Freu mich schon drauf wie sich das Module weiterentwickeln wird. :)
  24. I had that same issue once with the Fw-190D where my view was out to the left, impossible to recenter it. Turns out I had something checked in the DCS settings that was called "Save User Snap Views" (or similar, forgot the exact name); once I unchecked that, the cockpit was centered again for me.
