  1. Yep, please do so. The sooner, the better, of course (we've been down this road before). ;)
  2. One of the earliest reports: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=251161
  3. Ahem, as you know - VKBcontrollers only serves the US, Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. You should know because I replied to you. I also provided the email info for you to contact VKB directly to purchase from them instead. Have you done this? This information is also readily available from the "Where to Buy?" link for everyone to see. Lastly, the reason we dumped PayPal can be found in the FAQ. Thanks.
  4. Are you a SME, ready to evaluate it with your years of experience as aeronautical engineer? For us normal users, the EFM seems quite right - I mean, what else do you expect from us armchair pilots?
  5.
  6. I am sure most folks would prefer ED's own integrated solution over some external, third party mod... Since ED already laid out the development plan, it will be greatly enhanced down the line from its initial start.
  7. Ah that sucks. You would think that companies would keep plenty of spares around for warranty purposes alone.

    Deka Ironworks

Warum auch? Ist ja early access und wird enstprechend weiterentwickelt... Wie immer darum - geduld haben bei early access releases.
  9. If you land within parameters, everything works rather well. No brake adjustment needed by ED. ;)
  10. This is what I run to a lot when accidentally moving my TGP away from a steer point; the newly crated location is often times far away from the initial steer point intended for my CCRP bomb-run, and I end up getting lost and unable to locate my target again. I had hoped there was a way to reset this, but I guess we'll have to wait until this is addressed in DCS. Thanks for the detailed info as well - very useful.
  11. Yep, it's pretty well done in the F-16, I agree.
  12. Understanding physics involved is not the same as being able to develop an verifiable, accurate, professional flight model and then evaluate it. @Harlekwin - I never knew about this Dunning Kruger principle; how enlightening this is.
  13. I agree - and I am sure that Deka - as all other developers - should only listen to their SMEs and engineers when it comes to their respective module development. DCS is a simulation, not an arcade shooter, so usually phrases such as "nerfed" or "OP" don't apply, and should thus rightfully be ignored.
  14. Looking really good!
  15. That's great to hear, RedKite. Good stuff. I believe that Deka is on target to become another community darling like Heatblur already is.
  16. @Redkite - great video, well explained and very useful. Thank you. As a side note, I cannot wait for this full-glass cockpit equipped 4th gen jet to hit DCS. I wonder if this will be the most modern iteration of any jet we'll see in DCS (fingers crossed it's not).
  17. @IronMike - Thank you for the detailed insights. Very refreshing to read such candid info directly from a developer. That said, I personally have no problems with the F-14 in VR either.
  18. DCS F-16 is in early access, so stuff is still WIP (work in progress).
  19. Was about to say that as well. That's just how life goes - with pretty much everything. There's no obligation to constantly like/love/do/enjoy the same thing all the time (unless it's Ben & Jerry's Americone Dream).

    Thank you ED

+1  And ignore the chronic naysayers who spread negativity like there's no tomorrow. :)
  21. Guess you haven't used the Samsung Odyssey+ then. That's the king in terms of vibrant colors - including dark black - thanks to its AMOLED displays. (That's the one I'll go back to if my Reverb fails on me. The CV1 is just collecting dust in my closet).
  22. For me, that - along with the 170deg FOV - would be the most interesting aspect of any new VR HMD. Great to see that this is implemented in your XTAL.
