  1. Seriously FFS can we stop this crap of comparing to FC3 etc when the module and especially the radar are all WIP..:doh::doh::huh::huh::megalol: !!!
  2. you need to lift the finger lifts on the throttle for afterburner when launching from a carrier
  3. Make sure launch bar and tail hook are retracted. If either are down you will need to lift the finger lifts on the throttle to get afterburner.
  4. If u and the crew survive, at least u get a free helicopter ride home
  5. Once the AIM-7 is in the air im sure the flight dynamics are the same whether launched from an F-15 or F/A-18, i think the difference is in the guiding radar and how it cues the missile. Obviously big differences in the radar modeling between these two airframes in which ED will have to smooth out somehow. Edit: and F/A-18 radar is very much WIP so time will tell.
  6. This is correct. If the TGT designation is off your actual target set TDC to HUD with sensor switch up (you will see a dot inside the VV/flight path marker & slew the TDC to the intended target.
  7. ED are loosing sales because of this no matter how cool VR is. It's not a requirement.
  8. :megalol::megalol: Typical.. :D

  10. This thread :D:megalol: I had the privilege of seeing the production line for the F/A-18A's in Australia & was at the ceremony & display of the 1st Australian built hornet. Certainly a bird i've been anticipating to see in DCS for a long time.. :) Only a few more hours to go!! :D Thank you ED & Belsimtek for all your effort & dedication to making this a reality for the community.
  11. two separate key binds for "weapons fire = cannon" & "weapons release = missiles". Also when launching missiles hold down the weapons release button for 1-2 seconds.
  12. Stunning!
  13. I remember following the development of the Black Shark before it was released. When it was released it was simply amazing, stunning modeling and details never seen before in all my years of simming. Now to achieve 2.5 with new modules & maps, maps updated for free!! Simply world class effort. Congratulation ED, you should all be proud of yourselves. btw- Havent tried 2.5 yet but i know i'll like it :D
  14. :megalol::thumbup: I wanted to ask the OP's question too, but this made my day. :)
  15. With it unchecked it reduces the side to side bobbing by 80% or so. It's still there just significantly reduced. I guess this what people are referring to when they say it cannot be completely removed.
  16. This is most definitely an option. Options, Misc tab, Head Movement by G-Forces in Cockpit. I just verified that you can turn it off.. I'm using 2.2

  18. Correct.. Propaganda stunt. :megalol:
  19. Its more pronounced in the AV-8B as it's a very small and light airframe.
  20. Yes. In DCS F-15 they come on when selecting NAV mode & turn off when switching radar on.
  21. If you want aircraft spawning in the parking bays or on the runway, using the above picture provided by SUNTSAG, click the drop down menu where it says "fly over point".
  22. You should hold 21units till touchdown, using throttle to reduce decent rate.
  23. Might be a good idea to start the left engine. ;)
  24. Stunning! gave me chills!
