  1. ahhh might be a touch early to be asking about training missions.
  2. You may have been given the wrong impression. ED are making their own AI for MI-24 & AH-64. Some folks suggested to use Heatblur's Jester but ED are opting to build there own system, which makes much more sense.
  3. I would say it's missing due to amount of complex calculation that would need to be made. Certainly possible in the future since now we have turbulence. I wouldn't expect to see it in the near future though.
  4. Hope so but definitely not initially going by the latest news as there is no mention of either. They could very well do the D but may have to exclude some systems due to "sensitivity". Edit: Just read Vigilate87's post, thats good news
  5. Doesn't look like we'll be getting FCR or RF Hellfires sadly.
  6. I recall a few years ago you were able to eject, land and walk to a UAZ get in and drive around. Not sure if this feature is still functional, i don't think it is.
  7. Why put yourself in crap position then complain about it?
  8. Not bad. Have you seen this one? This one started them all, was uploaded only a few months after the shark was released https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NalLLT-5J-4 Edit: one thing i can tell you about the linked demo is that all AP channels are off and trim is not used.
  9. lol, if you play offline mission where enemy helos come after when you spawn then your mission designer is not very clever. :) If you make a mistake and take a TOW up the *** then who's fault is that? :) Complaining (among other things) that AI helos come after you is pointless, everyone including ED know AI needs a work over. It is what it is atm.
  10. you heard? where? we all hear things. Why not try test yourself?
  11. Checked out the track. I'm no expert but to me it looked like you cooked your engine. Ive been flying the Dora a lot lately and haven't had any engine issues. Done some test thrashing the engine but couldn't make it quit. I like to manage engine temp myself and keep coolant BELOW 100deg. Not saying there isn't a bug, very well could be but i thought i'd bring up the temperature thing as a consideration. Edit: I checked the specs for temps and you are actually within working temp range so i had to correct myself somewhat.
  12. Haha, reminds me of this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=189503&highlight=fired :D
  13. Yes, i'm fine with that. All i'm saying is that i would have liked to see ED stick to a plan and develop the module in a logical sequential order. It's all great asking every tom dick and harry what they want first devolved, but it's opening up a can of worms they wont be able to contain.
  14. Appreciate your comment and reference to my post but to say it " doesn't make a difference what they start next" is a little naive considering the complexity of such a complicated aircraft.
  15. Didn't participate. While on the surface it seems transparent of ED to ask for their customers base opinion I think it's at the same time unprofessional. The module should be expanded & developed in the most obvious, logical and financially sound manner appropriate to the development cycle, in turn making the EA period as short as possible. Edit: No disrespect to ED, I respect their development decisions, this is just my opinion.
  16. Thanks for the update Kate, im sure ED is doing what they can with the resources they have. Unfortunately in the world we live in every dick & harry's gonna try to have a go at whatever they can bite at, like savage animals. All the best.
  17. I didn't vote cause i'm in the middle. I think it would be a reasonable idea to have a functioning optics dial where in the moon setting the Shkval has a partial enhancement.
  18. Ranma13 i tried your mission and i got the same result as you (rounds hit to the left). Ka-50's altitude is just above 300ft. I think i know whats going on. In the ME the wind settings are now tied together from 33ft - 1600ft and the 33ft setting is reduced as a result from changing the wind setting at 1600ft. I think the KA-50 is using wind correction relating to the 1600ft setting and is not reducing the correction as you drop in altitude. If you gain altitude to 1600ft the rounds hit the mark. I don't think it's a bug but more the fact that Ka-50 wind correction algorithm hasn't been updated since the updates to the way wind is handled in the ME. (my speculation only) Either way i hope this gets fixed.
  19. Yes but that's not the point of the OP is it? I tried my test mission again at 36knots cross wind, PVI800 showing 19m/s, my cannon rounds still hitting the target. Edit: That being said i dont think the OP is doing anything wrong for his rounds to be missing. Looks to me like some sort of core DCS issue with certain missions.
  20. Ranma13, this could be an issue with the mission you are loading. I am not seeing this behavior on my end with 18 knots (33km/h crosswind). I tested this with a clean mission starting airbourne. Maybe try seting up a simple mission in the editor and test it again.
  21. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=4238932&postcount=11
  22. Just tested this and i see no issue. Shooting from a hover at 3km with a left to right crosswind at 18knots. Rounds hitting target pretty much dead center.
