TACAN/VOR/DME/Fixes/Airways/NDBs are used for navigation. Charts used in IFR and VFR have at least one nav fix in order to help get in landing pattern. So essentially, navaids pass you to the landing. Also, TACAN is used in AAR to home on the tankers in the A-10C. A tactical reason is you want to minimise radio chatter across so the enemy is not aware where you are or friendlies are.

check ground and VAD charts. I think by virtual Jabog or Lino Germany. Also, if you open mission planner, before hitting Fly, you can find your exact location on a ramp start. From this you can see which taxiways to take and even draw a rough paper memo to make the correct to the threshold. Beware though that AI will takeoff in the ATC direction but land from the opposite direction.

as above, Is there charts for calculating takeoff and landing V speeds? how about other V speeds? Also, iirc, there was a glisade voice saying nizhe/vyshe glisade guiding you, what happened to it?

Ok I got this but I slew the brackets to target at 20 miles then drop halfway to 10 mile range setting and finally the targets can be locked at say 15 miles, with keeping brackets on target then holding the acq. I'll post a video.

its very weird as I have full fuel and guns, two AIM-9P so my trim should be 6-7 and vR should be 156 but in setting this trim, hitting this speed, it rotates with stick in halfway position not held to gut (fully back) as described in manual. the only time I had to hold stick to gut was when full nose down trim to zero units. its funny you should mention this because my gun run had hit alot of the target but the recorded ref video shows that I had hit short. No biggie as I was happy to participate in this event (been out of multiplayer since 2012). I think we could ask 476 for a range grid type of object or another modder so rounds can be calculated on visual impacts. tyres also can be used to simulate the tyres with microphones (or seizmic activity loggers) inside them used on the real A-10 ranges hooked I think to computers to determine actual impacts (in hog smoke RL events).
