  1. the thermal guidance is not dependent on radar operation. R/ER variants are radar guided. R-73/R-27T/ET are thermally guided.
  2. Its great save for Thunderstruck.. Its purely an A-10 Thunderbolt song.. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. have you guys seen the videos? I think Tarawa is allover the place so yeah I think so (90% of what I see is not based on evidence, if you are lucky, you would materialise the remaining 10%). [emoji23][emoji482] Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. hang on this is exclusively for NTTR/2.0?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I would like to know the following: 1- is there a radar elevation indication in the cockpit? 2- gain and brightness and contrast can help detecting ground targets if big enough like column on a flat well contrasted road as opposed to say mountainous trek? 3- what is the function of memory mode and obstacle avoidance modes? 4- why is the trim without autopilot but SPAK engaged really slow? dead slow...
  6. It looks like the typical star of David arrangement for an SA-2 Guideline site. The middle of the star is the acquisition radar (Fan Song). The six points are S-75 Dvina each with their launchers. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. how do you clean up the throttle quadrant? I am collecting dust on the throttle well walls all the way down to the bay. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. according to manual, the difference between aft and forward fuel tanks should be 200 lbs (roughly one tick mark apart). The balancing can be done two ways, either autobalance switch ON with both fuel pump switches on, or manually, by setting the lower tank pump to off then enable CROSSFEED, not autobalance. This is to prevent huge discrepancy from effecting CG changes that make landing difficult. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks Sryan. i took the plunge thank you very much :megalol:
  10. are you trying aerobatics?
  11. I’ll try it and upload a fresh one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. can we get the manuals?
  14. Snapshots mostly but nailed him by ramming after a good fight.. I did not see the distance how close he was from the smoke so I fired until he was in my propeller :megalol: How to Kill The Spit in a Messer.trk
  15. If you activate route follow after takeoff, it will follow route at your current altitude. If you engage altitude hold, the climb to mission editor point altitude begins. This climb is not split to VSI like airliners, but I guess there is the autopilot override setting for a reason. I think its to adjust parameters. I tried it but depending on your speed the correction to the new say altitude can be coarse or fine depending as I said on airspeed and marginal difference between set and new altitude. The autopilot then goes back to old altitude then moves on its own to the new altitude. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Usually I do the opposite, get the speed right, then let the nose go down slowly and hold it with trim to the horizon. Autopilot really helps in those long flights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. well I am 31 years old but due to occupational hazards, my back is arched and I can’t stand the setup I have so I placed a few pillows under and behind me as ergonomics was not good and it somehow alleviated my pains. What I am saving for now is a huge multimonitor setup and a flight seat. It will take me sometime but believe me, it helps relaxing. All respect to seniors here but from a medical man, invest in ergonomics more than gadgets it will take a huge step to your health. Here is to your health big brothers
  18. Thanks Tony. I have got them they were right under my chin bubble. Thanks.
  19. there seems to be an option in controls where you hold a button to steer using your stick the missile. Anyone tried it? the one with a flare. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. if bandits get on your six you are not flying like you should. Boom and zoom tactic works well if you can hold her higher by miles up than the bandit. Its exclusively warbird tactic. If you cant shake the bandit, speed away but do NOT climb. 109 is a superb climber (its basically a space shuttle). Do NOT, again, DO NOT climb with the 109. Watch his ailerons and general direction. If he climbs that is because he wants you to overshoot, which is again, BnZ, or lag displacement roll he is doing. To counter this, you must slow down as he will eventually lose speed when higher then descend upon you. When he does that, turn towards his turn plane then when he passes you descending, you perform a lag displacement roll climbing, if you feel he is getting closer. Another thing is, do not speed away if he is AI. He WILL kill you. If you are separated enough, then and only then you only speed away. Once a few miles ahead, climb and place him on your twelve. Can you post a track?
  21. can you please fix the missiles freezing the game? it seems that I can hear the game running but as missile approaches target the game freezes. CTD.
  22. force your opponent to lose his 120s then turn around and he should be closer.
  23. did anyone notice the sound of M-60 is a bit weird? I mean watch the peacemaker heli scene when devoe tells them to shoot back, the sound is completely off.
