A decent rule of thumb is your fps will be about half perhaps even little less than half than what you get in 2d monitor.

Awesome news - thank you so much for all you guys efforts!!
-
Yeah I will admit I confuse easily these days, but I seem to be finding it more confusing now.
-
Ok found it thanks. It was kinda tucked away toward the bottom and was hard for me to see at first. Thanks,

Where is this "auto browse" ? I do not see it in Vaicom settings.
-
It's Meta. Go for it.

Well not sure what would need fixing. DCS in MT running Open XR is performing now the best it ever has in VR. So they are making progress, and MT is still considered beta so hopefully more improvements to come. Should be exciting times ahead.
-
Ok so probably stupid question on my part, if you determined VR is not for you why get the Bigscreen Beyond?
-
I run a 9900k and do not have this issue at all, DCS - MT with eye tracked DFR works beautifully for me in my Aero. Also am running the latest Nvidia drivers 536.40. And yes I have Open XR Toolkit disabled per mbucchia's instructions.

I run two of these and have been quite happy with them. https://www.amazon.com/RSHTECH-Transfer-Charging-Individual-A37-Black/dp/B07RQYFYN6/ref=asc_df_B07RQYFYN6/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=366288502003&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8913113568735333875&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011519&hvtargid=pla-805251959252&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=74513439485&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=366288502003&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=8913113568735333875&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9011519&hvtargid=pla-805251959252

Nice choice - congrats! -
Why does the outside world look terrible in VR?
dburne replied to Callsign.Vega's topic in Virtual Reality
Yeah distant scenery in VR is not so sharply detailed. -
Will this DCS Campaign ever get fixed?
dburne replied to dburne's topic in Spitfire LF Mk. IX Operation Epsom Campaign
Just gave it another try this morning, working fine now. Go figure lol. -
Can the Reverb G2 controllers be configured under OpenXR?
dburne replied to Bowman-011's topic in Virtual Reality
Two very different technologies. Why do you think you should be able to use Rift controllers with a Reverb G2? Last I saw G2 comes with it's own controllers. There is nothing to fix here really unless I am totally misunderstanding your statement. -

Ah that must be it then - did not realize there was an update my bad. How to get an update? I thought these campaigns were updated by Eagle Dynamics? Just checked my miz files in the campaign folder are dated June 8th. The first .miz file is dated June 22nd. -

You talking DCS version? Yes running latest Open Beta MT. -
Only you could say whether it was worth it to you unfortunately. For me I felt it was worth it at full price. But it is a lot of money. Audio - I have always preferred earbuds plugged into my Creative Sound DAC so I use that with the Aero as well. I will also add eye tracked dynamic foveated rendering is a sight to behold in DCS. Have had my Aero close to a year and a half now with no regrets. And the nice thing I still don't see anything out there topping it yet.

Probably reason you are now seeing it is you have logging enabled in Vaicom. Disable again and you should not see those messages.

It will be worth the wait...

Quick questions about VR before I'm buying anything
dburne replied to Surfingnet's topic in Virtual Reality
Yes Open XR is third party software. It was developed and is maintained by mbucchia. While he is a MS employee the Open XR Toolkit is a project he does for the community in his spare time. Same with the eye tracked DFR. To the OP - yes Reverb G2 would be a very good first VR headset for flight simming. -
How do I center the view on a HP Reverb G2 in-game?
dburne replied to Hobo 1-1's topic in Virtual Reality
This. Not sure why anyone with a VR headset on would want to have to search for and press a numpad key. But to each their own. Much easier to assign to a button on HOTAS, and while at it go ahead and assign the two layers of VR Zoom ( In UI Layer) in there as well. -
Well as tempting as I am sure it will be, think I will just continue to stick with my VPC Rotor and Alpha L grip. So far the combo seems to work well for me with the Apache. But I also need more hours in it.

Yep - significantly on my end to load.
