This took about 5 seconds to find. Not that it's authoritative, but it does speak to the concern. The wrong time and date on your computer can negatively affect apps that rely on them. For instance, software that depend on web-based services or internet-based authorization schemes may not allow you access to those resources.Jan 11, 2024

Too much coffee? You're a little pointy there, brother. I don't know what messing around with the time on my PC will do? Like everyone else I have a hundred different things running and I have no idea if they will be happy with the date going back and forth.

Well I enjoy open discussion and appreciate ED getting involved. Makes the customer feel heard. Always good. Now... if someone can just fix my radar I will be much more likely to show patience to all parties and not whine about things. Seriously, my delicious fancy eye candy A2G radar, that's my thing. There no "Strike" to the Eagle without it.

Amen! I look forward to my F15E radar working again. I can live without some updates... for a while. But I need my fancy radar. Ducks! get them in a row.

The fact that this thread is open has a full 100% of your attention. And it will continue to do so for a yet undetermined amount of time. Would it be of help if you and I went to another thread, and I told you in that thread that this one has been deleted? I could tell you it's gone and everything is fine and no need to go looking for it. Or... would you immediately go look for a thread you don't want to look for, to find a thread you don't want to find, to read the thread you don't want to read, to comment in the thread you don't want to comment in, to say that the thread should not exist even though you spend so much time existing in it? The truth of the matter is you very much want this thread to remain open. I wish you the best of luck.

Interesting. Just FYI, you do realize that you have the choice of whether to read this thread or not? You have it within you to not read it or comment in it. That's something you can manage. If, however, you are under duress and being forced to read and comment in this thread, let us know and we will come to your aid. We are a friendly DCS community, after all.

For someone who doesn't want others to comment, you sure do comment a lot. May I assume you will continue to comment while telling others they should not be allowed to?

Yeah, but the F-15E was on it's way to being my Space Shuttle of Death. Big, fat, heavy, fast, 300' off the deck, going like stink, in bad weather, with the great radar, tons of guided munitions, and fancy MFDs. That's my baby, right there. Alas, no more.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but without the fancy A2G radar the F-15E has taken a serious beating. This thing is my modern F-111. I need that all weather, day or night, targeting. Not to mention we lost the terrain following I presume. That totally sucks.

My Steam F-15E didn't authorize before I left for work and still doesn't. I hope this isn't a thing.
