  1. Better not. I got a hot date with a Chinook in a few weeks.
  2. The saddest part of all this... no GBU-28 for my Strike Eagle. No beeg badaboom.
  3. 2017: Bought the A-10A. Still a cool plane.
  4. For my part, I don't want a refund. I just want my F-15E to continue flying and get some updates. But I understand that some would want their money back.
  5. I just wanted to register a disagreement without being a prick about it. If the modules came with a warning, and not small print, that at any point an update required to fly those other planes and enjoy those other assets and features, might make your new purchase unflyable...... put that up in bold and watch the sales figures plummet in real time. But that's just my take on it.
  6. Don't mean to sound rude, but that's about as close to "Stop flying DCS" as I've read. If that is to be considered a tenet of the sim going forward, it's cooked.
  7. You must be great fun at parties.
  8. We should take it all out on Spudtato.
  9. Would be pretty funny to see what would have happened if a big chunk of F-15E buyers managed to, post purchase, pull back 50% of what they paid and told the powers that be "Until certain criteria are met our payments will no longer be supported". The highly enriched, weapons grade freak out that would have erupted would have been spectacular! to watch. I mean an angry supernova collapsing into a furious black hole level freak out. Earthquakes, tornadoes, cats lying with dogs. It would have been cosmic. By comparison, I think we're being pretty good about it.
  10. If it was just the F-15E that would suck, but that the Harrier is included makes it worse because that is a fantastic module. Some of the best DCS flying fun I've had was in the Harrier.
  11. Actually, I'm the walking definition of "damn good looking". In any case, someone needs to tend to my F-15E.
  12. I very much doubt Steam would accommodate such a request.
  13. It's not a question of getting upset - it's a question of getting what you paid for. And if someone has a reasonable argument to make that they aren't getting what they paid for, they are of course allowed to voice their concerns. That's just a part of business. And business is business.
  14. I'm never quite sure what to make of Spudtato.
  15. You are free to cry as you see fit.
  16. We need Elon to buy RB.
  17. You noticed the weepy music, did you?
  18. Spudtato seems to have an opinion.
  19. ED has made several excellent modules, super high quality.
  20. There was an official statement. RB told the customers to pound sand and that maybe possibly perhaps one day the customers might get support again for the stuff they bought. We're all just guessing. But... one thing I'm not guessing about is that my RB modules have been orphaned by the devs. And since said orphaning (is that a word?), my RB modules remain officially unsupported. I'm not saying that - RB is saying that. Intent may well be to offer support again one day. Reality is that my RB modules had no support yesterday, have no support today, and unfortunately, will likely have no support tomorrow. I hope that changes because I really like my F-15E. And I sleep just fine. Thank you for thinking about me.
  21. The difference is the official statement of non-support. But neither is 12 months without an update a good thing for a new product like Sinai. The devs and/or ED should be letting us know about the state of the Sinai map. I don't know the circumstances beyond RB telling the customers to pound sand, which as a fan of their modules - though not of them - isn't great.
  22. Beirut

    Birthday cake

    Glorious!
  23. As stated, when RB changes their tune from "We shall not" to "We shall", I will be delighted. I look forward to F-15E updates. But as long as my bought and paid for modules exist under a developer's umbrella of "We shall not", then that is the reality. My modules are orphans. Hopefully that will change.
  24. Hold on, let me check... Nope. But this is not an ordinary waiting period, this time period has been one of RB saying "We shall not". When RB turns it around and says "we shall", I will be delighted. I very much enjoy my RB modules. But there is intent and there is reality. Intent may well be to provide support again. But reality is my RB modules are officially orphaned. I look forward to that changing.
  25. Eight-weeks ago... no support Seven-weeks ago... no support Six-weeks ago... no support Five-weeks ago... no support Four weeks ago... no support Three-weeks ago... no support Two-weeks ago... no support One week ago... no support Yesterday... no support Today... no support Tomorrow... who knows As it stands right now and as it has stood for two-months, my RB modules are orphans. .
