God knows I have the body for it.

I think that was my first thread rating. What do I win?
-
Works and loving it! Great big fat thank you for bringing my Space Shuttle of Death back to it's full glory.
-
Well I have no interest in a refund. I just want my F-15E to work and you fix is just great. Flew last night and had some good fun. Many thanks! Although there are a list of things I would like to see added to the Strike Eagle, if it at least stays in the shape it's in now with your fix, I can live with that.

I'm bringing only positive vibes.

Sweeeeeeet!

Do I still get my Chinook on the 3rd?
-
Defintely enjoying. Just had a lovely flight. GBUs through the clouds and back at 500' TFR in the muck. A Strike Eagle without that delicious A2G radar is like an F-16 without Sidewinders or an A-10 without the BRRRRRRT! It just can't happen.

I'm not the smartest cookie in the tool shed, so as far as installation goes for Steam, do I have to create the "services" folder to put into the mods folder and then put budgie in that? Right now I just have "aircraft" and "tech" subfolders. Thank you.

Ack! All these negative waves. I'm having a drink.

My bunker busting joie de vivre is impervious to your buzzkill. "BOOM!"

Well I'm still waiting/hoping for my GBU-28. Beeg badaboom!
-
That sounds very! cool. And I'd buy that if it was available. But I also want all the shiny tech toys and sparkly MFDs I can get. And a glass pit Chinook with night vision and all the funky navigation stuff, that sounds like fun to me.
-
I want the highest tech Chinook I can get. I want my big WHOMP-WHOMP-WHOMP to have all the fancy MFDs and gadgets available. I wouldn't mind a prehistoric Chinook, but I want the modern one more.

I'm just looking forward to flying a great big chopper. The Mi-8 is fantastic but it needs a paintjob, and it's old school, which is fine, but I want some new tech and those fancy MFDs as well. For comparison, the Apache has taken a while to have everything implemented, but it's a pretty damn nice chopper. Not that I understand half the system though. Since the Chinook is all about the flying, I can see myself getting deeper into flight management, and that's okay with me. Lots of my DCS time is just flying around for fun.

I'm pretty sure we Steam users will (continue to) be told to contact Steam about a refund. In other words, not a chance. If I wanted a refund, I'd be satisfied with ED giving me a partial refund on a store credit for my main-site install that I use for the free trials. But that would be about as convoluted as was the previous sentence. Never happen. But I don't want a refund, I want my F-15E and I'll wait and see what happens. Meanwhile, back in the excellent Harrier... while is lasts.

Luse is actually a very nice guy. I know him from other forums and it's possible English is not his first language. Show a little patience.

Getting hysterical is what we do. I want my Chinook.

F-111C/F add-on on 'competing' platform made me cry.

I, sir, have sat in an F-111. And I was scrupulously clean at the time. -

I made a poll a while back asking which plane was cooler: F-111 or Vulcan? And the winner! -
Well, I registered my opinion and I don't want to add to your existing **** pile. Enjoy Vegas!

Threats are a another matter, but it's Youtube, stupid remarks are par for the course. Locking the comments is what Disney does when they put out another bad trailer and don't want to get destroyed. It's also why YouTube hides the number of downvotes now. And the downvotes on the Summer Sale video are now at 1.5k to 1.1k upvotes. ED can do as it wishes, but it does not go unnoticed. Time off? Scandalous!
-
I checked. You're right. And the video has 1.1K upvotes and 1.4K downvotes as of the time of this post. Disabling comments on YouTube is a public retreat and admission of fear. It was a bad idea. .

Hopefully the Harrier will continue to function well. You should consider hanging on to it as it's an absolute riot to fly.
