Syria isn't my favourite map - personal geographic preference - but it's still the King Kong of quality as far as maps go. Defintely the best made and maintained map for the sim. I felt like I got my money's worth when I bought it, but they just keep making it better anyway.

Holy Gigabytes! 62GB update on Steam. I'm not complaining.

I complained about my internet three-months ago and they doubled my speed and cut my bill by a third. Sometimes whining is a good thing. Still no update on Steam. Can't wait to see what the FC3 planes look like.

I knew you'd show up. Thanks That's... unfortunate. It's not horrible since it's on sale, but maybe some bold text spelling it out. because it's a bit ambiguous on the Steam page. The NS 430 can also also be separately purchased as an integrated cockpit panel option for DCS: Mi-8MTV2 and DCS: L-39 Albatros. Less than clear.

I just bought the Mi-8 version of the NS430 and it doesn't show up. Did I just pay for the dashboard installation option only of a product I don't actually have and now I have to buy the NS430 "system" to have it show up? I'm having a flashback to others have this conversation years ago.

I guess with the Lunar Sale going until the 18th that means no Phantom until after that. Sales are a great way to keep the children quiet.

I have a bunch of the modules and I learn each to the exact point where I stop having fun. I'm just here for the fun of flying.

I'll give Master of the Air another go. Pacific too later on. For the moment, burning through "Chernobyl" again, pardon the pun. An easy 9/10.

Made it through most of the first episode. Couldn't handle Pacific at all. I think Generation Kill and Band of Brothers ruined me. They were so good with the characters I find everything else a bit weak. But I'll try to watch some more and see if it grabs me.

Only took a week, actually.

And it should be noted that the F-111 is officially cooler than the Vulcan.

Still taking big performance hits down low on the SA map, but it's a great map. Looking forward to more updates for it.

Every Saturday afternoon around 2PM Montreal time. He does a tutorial at 1:30 and if the tutorial is short, then the live podcast might start at 1:45 or whatever. Always an enjoyable show. Lots of back and forth with the chat. This was a good show:

I like HIP, but the voices and "comedy" can get pretty cringe at times. I wish he'd cut back a bit. I'm a longtime Grim Reapers fan. They're my go-to channel. Also, Deephack's DCS podcast every Saturday afternoon (EST) is great.

I wonder is ORBX will list DCS stuff on their home page products list?
