I don't understand why people who don't enjoy this thread spend so much time in it, read every post, participate in it with their posts... and then ask that it be closed so others can't participate in it and enjoy it as they see fit. The solution is fantastically simple and ever so easily achieved - ignore this thread. Problem solved. I've lost count of how many have asked that this thread be closed and then continue to participate in it for weeks and months.

Unless I'm having a senior moment, the trees change on the Normandy map with the seasons. They get nice fall/winter colours. -

I appreciate that. But I'll wait until it's - hopefully - officially back on track. The Chinook is keeping me busy. But no free trials for the Mig-19, that's a bummer. It was the one I was waiting for most to come around again.

And they took it off the free trials and I was only about a month away. raza fraza rumu gruba shmuga!!! But its not just Germany, my C-130 will be out soon. I can feel it. And my La-7.

I'm half tempted to grab it while it's still up on Steam. But my DCS cash is aimed at Germany for the moment. All this is quite a shame.

Perhaps the easiest way is to save a custom view to a zoomed in MFD, and have it pop up of for half a second using Voice Attack. Might use "I'm not 21 anymore and I can't see the ******** numbers, they're too small!" as the command word trigger.

My eyes aren't what they used to be, and with my 27" screen, I find the ADI on the MFD very hard to read without constantly zooming in and out to check speed and elevation. But I don't know how or if it can be made bigger. At best I can make it only half the MFD. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Understandable. I've been Chinook-ing around the Normandy 2 map as kind of a taste test of what Germany should be like. And if we bring the Normandy map style of eye candy forward 40 years and into Germany with the bigger airfields and more industrialization, it's bound to be an exceptional map for every kind of flying. -
The A-10CII? Once it has the pilot, that thing will probably be as close as it gets.

Ugra has a solid rep and I have no issue pre-ordering with them. They put out fantastic updates for the Syria map. They definitely have street cred.

Looks fantastic! The only issue will be what to fly first after loading it up.
