set waypoont to ground elevation F16 TGP snap to waypoint
buceador posted a topic in DCS: F-16C Viper
I know / think this has changed. In NAV mode for example, it used to be TMS up (long?) to snap to steerpoint 1 (for example), this is no longer the case, what is the current method please? -
It was just a guess! I haven't played the "more arcade like game" but I am aware that is an arcade game that doesn't purport to hold realism or authenticity in high regard. My point was that if someone is looking for something more "flexible" in terms of realism then"other products" are available and perhaps meet those needs.

All the "options" that you seek RedTail11 are available, I imagine, in "the well known arcade battle game", which you cite on your profile page. Adherence to realism is a laudable goal that DCS promotes above all else and which is appreciated by many of us, if not the majority.

Simply for information, DCS crashes each time I exit the program when using certain mods, I KNOW this is because of a MOD that I want use in specific missions. I have 2 MODS folders, one that I know will NOT crash the program on exit and one that I know WILL. Crashing after I click exit doesn't worry me...

I mentioned this very point in my post on Feb 8 and said that the upcoming (3rd party) DCS Web Editor should address many of these points.

You cannot "change" the HUD? You can add and subtract displayed information by using the switches to the right of the stick.
-
Oh dear... it seems like anyone who disagrees with you is missing the point. This makes it sound like they are sitting around a table, plotting how they can make your DCS experience miserable? Why not focus on all the great aspects of the SIM that have been achieved rather than whining about one, comparatively, minor aspect that bugs you? (In case you have no recollection of how things were...)

Just a wild guess

Amazed that this blip caused so much ruckus! Your login is not linked to your cardiac pacemaker it's just entertainment! (Many thanks to the ED team for a speedy fix)

Voice attack coupled with Viacom?

As the 15C is a FC aircraft that really only leaves the Tomcat, it is a pity that the our F-16 doesn't fit the Aim 7 Sparrow era...
-
I am aware of that but it would seem to address many of the (many) shortcomings of ME and the last time I looked ED seemed quite happy with its direction.
-
I echo those who suggest CLICK SELECT DRAG/ MOVE multiple ground assets. I'm guessing this kind of overhaul of ME is on the back burner due to the imminent release of DCS Web Editor?
-
Lovely idea! I don't use SRS but if I speak as I'm flying my voice plays when I watch the track file, I'm guessing that doesn't happen with SRS audio?

As I'm sure you are aware, track files are notoriously unreliable, trying to include voice chat as well could well be a bridge too far. Growling Sidewinder records his tracks live, probably using Nvidia Geforce Experience or something similar. I use Geforce Experience to record the track the add any sound files afterwards using a video editor.

Do you mean the replay of the track file, like an automatic in-flight commentary of the flight?

I recently (yesterday) posted a problem concerning getting AI, be it wingmen or otherwise, to perform SEAD then attack a map object or a group or whatever. With forum help I discovered that making it a CAS mission and specifying that the AI attack the SAM group (actually attacking specified units is more successful) first , at waypoint 1 for example and the proceed to the other tasks was usually successful. It seems that labelling the mission SEAD causes problems. Hope this helps.
