  1. The Gui variable has it own issues right now http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=148111
  2. Agreed. Just played the mission Smirch Hunt. When the first artillery piece unmaskes and fires you really should be able see it visably from all the smoke from the launch.
  3. Lalt+enter works for most people. Ralt doesn't work though, make sure to use the left one.
  4. If you have vsync on them your display will only work at multiples of 60 to keep the scene from tearing. If your fps drop below 60 then your screen will be showing the scene at 30fps to keep it from treating.that's why it doesn't feel smooth.
  5. I know the theme music during training missions is a confirmed bug that was reported earlier
  6. Is it the new engine? Do you have a good light source such as a full moon, or is it obscured by clouds?
  7. Just tried the NFS11 profile and I find it does reduce the stutter a lot. Almost playable now. Still a hitch eVery 8-10 seconds now compared to before. I'm cautiously optimistic with this progress. Also check my vram, stays right around 2100 out of 4gb so that isn't the issue. Spoke too soon, stutter is back, I think I'm onto something.... ..... Nope rats. My sound card crashed when I got the smoother gameplay, so I disabled it and didn't get the same results. Now when I run the NFS11 profile it stutter just as much as the default. I got one session where it was smooth, maybe related to sound, but I don't want to physically remove my soundcard and is drivers to see. Back to square one.
  8. Not at my computer right now, but in another thread someone stated that the vram usage was quite high. Maybe the sim thinks we have double the available vram than we can actually use, causing a lot of caching and stuttering?
  9. No stutter?
  10. Latest Beta drivers as well. Tried forcing AFR and 1x1 as well as other DX11 profiles like pCars with no change. The thing I noticed that the stuttering increases during the training missions compared to regular or quick missions.
  11. Still an issue since the original Lock On. There has to be a way to setup the spot on the throttle axis for the afterburner that lines up with your throttle detent. Right now with my X-65 throttle the afterburner for all aircraft kicks in just a few degrees before my detent.
  12. Just an FYI, the Cyborg Profile Switcher can be used so that when you loaf the sim it will automatically load your profile http://sourceforge.net/projects/cyborgautoprofiler/
  13. Most likely tree shadows when you are low This works great for me http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2495059&postcount=20
  14. Looks like hdr light levelling that's too strong
  15. Turn off SLI and see if it is still there. I'm running a Crossfire setup and getting the stutter when CF is enabled. Disable it and the stutter goes away. This could be a multi-GPU issue.
  16. I found the stutter got a lot worse with the Landing Training mission. Could be linked to scripting somehow.
  17. After figuring out how to enable fullscreen so I can use my Crossfire setup I've found there is a major stutter happening. Every few seconds it dips to single digit FPS and back up while in the quick missions. I tried the landing training mission (was looking forward to a high FPS landing for once) and found that the stutter is non-stop. Alt+Enter out of fullscreen to turn off Crossfire and the stutter goes away. Not sure if this stutter is connected to messages/comms on screen, but it is much worse in the training mission than during the quick mission.
  18. I was hitting Ralt and getting nothing. Tried Lalt and it works :) Now I have a major stutter every few seconds with CF on :(
  19. From reading other threads, full screen isn't functioning fully. Once in world hit Lalt+Enter to toggle full screen. (I was using Ralt and it does nothing) On the downside it introduces a stutter every few seconds.
  20. works great, huge increase in FPS over forests and I found the tree shadows, in the current map at least, didn't look good.
  21. I can confirm. Have x2 r9 290X and second GPU is pegged at 300mhz, which means it's stuck in 2D mode, which is a symptom of no crossfire as the second GPU is inactive. You see the same thing in a IDtech game as it doesn't support crossfire.
  22. Crossfire not working 100% Found an issue with crossfire where my second GPU won't run past idle speed. Even if I use a custom profile and force AFR or 1x1 the second GPU won't go full speed. It stays at 300mhz, which means that it's stuck in 2D mode.
  23. same problem, surprisingly 3 screens I don't get that bad of FPS (30ish), but would like to figure this out because I'd like to get 60fps solid. So if you are able to click through to flying then everything works. The radio messages and comms menu act as it should. It's only the main screen that gets compressed.
  24. I don't want to dirty up the main forum with issues with 1.5, but all the troubleshooting forums have their settings set to being unable to post.
  25. Multi GPU support
