How could that be a GPU Driver issue when its just crashing/freezing in the Tomcat? Just a friendly question. Thanks

I don’t know about this new Technology but I have added DCS to their list. https://explore.amd.com/en/technologies/radeon-software-fidelityfx-super-resolution/survey suppose to be new stuff about out gaming world graphics and performance.

Thanks for checking the Tomcat freeze for us it my favorite mod for sure. I just came home from work and jumped in the a single mission practice session I was able to get 2 in and then it froze and had to wait about 3 mins to close program. Last weekend when it would freeze I would go straight into task Manger and end program. Not so much in a bfm server but it does happen in there also. Im sure the team will the cause. Thanks for the hard work and fantastic Jet! Love the hell out of that Tomcat !

Every once in awhile I’ll get that Tomcat freeze too. But not all the time. In a multiplayer, not that often as single player.

Yup same here hardly ever use them but when I do for setting purposes never had a crash with them hitting that windows button.

The last patch update fixed my Tomcat Crash issue. Awesome !

Nothing to do with my stuff: [RTX 20 series][GTX 16/10 series][HDMI] 4K @ 120Hz display mode is not available from display settings [3312401] If GPU is connected to a 4K UHD TV, system may freeze when launching a VR game [3313315] But I might as well too if I start getting that message error, Thanks !

I got a message yesterday when I booted up Steamvr that said gpu error and need to update nvidia driver that had a link to it. I’m running NV driver 466.47, so does it want me to upgrade the the hotfix driver ? 466.57 I never did a hotfix driver before. I played without downloading it with no probs.

Also Great job on those steady clouds too, my G2/VR/DCS/SinglePlayer/Multiplayer is just pure awesome ! Great performance too. Well Done. Cheers !

I may fake sick and home and update. With me it was any mission with the Tomcat mostly single player missions especially the Syria Dogfight?BFM with the eagle, I love that one. Ah man my stomach hurts !

Awesome can’t wIt to get home a get the update. How about the Tomcat ? As all my issues was in the Tomcat only after quit and Fly again single mission crash.

Same here CommandT but I mostly only get it in the Tomcat after mission complete and then when I hit Fly Again , every single time. Your not alone and I bet that’s frustrating especially making videos.

Hey Flappy I’m only getting crashes in the Tomcat when I’m done with mission and click fly again every time. It started Last Saturday. I have all the log files I’ll get them in here for you to look at if you need the proof. Thanks

That’s great but even in the Tomcat? The crashing I’m getting is in the Tomcat after each mission when I click fly again or Shift-R.

It’s very odd because I get no crashes in VR with my G2 but 2D in just one day like today I’m getting crashes every mission restart and I mean every time I click fly again. No need to overclock of my side.

Is it okay to clean out my log files? Today is the first time I’m getting back to back mission restart crashes I’ve had like 8-10 now so far. On a multiplayer server/vr I have had no crashes today so far just practice missions. I have done a slow repair again today but this didn’t help. Is it okay to delete everything in the log file?

So weird after the new patch I wasn’t getting any crashes over the week days well maybe 1 or 2 with the tomcat. But today I’m getting crash after crash after restarting missions. I’m doing another slow repair and I also cleaned out the fxo stuff. in VR seems to be stable but switched to 2d this morning and crash after crash. Within 1 hour I’m up to 4-5 crashes.

I was in the same boat acouple months ago I knew nothing about VR zip ! It's gonna take time but when you nail it your gonna love it. Go to to VR section alot good stuff in there for the G2. Congratz !

I was getting ready to test wmr beta again with the new update today I just got off a 1 hour session and got zip crashes so thought I’d try pressing my luck and switch back over to wmr beta and the Tomcat I may try here in a few just to check my end but for now so far so good with the patch. Im hoping everything settles down again and everything is in harmony. I wish I had the space for the Vive Pro, I’m sharing may playroom/Mancave ...little cave with my wife and her office stuff, man shes accumulating a lot of stuff in here geeez!

The RealSimulator R3L is a force sensor base and has no loose movement. It’s based on the real viper stick. https://realsimulator.com/fssb-r3-lighting/ it’s actually the base that takes time to get use too. Right now I have my pitch set to 3.10lbs and my Roll at 2.10lbs.

I should of went with VR Optical because of the cupped design. My VRWave I don't care for especially how they tend to pop out/fall off the lenses when lifting the HMD up when I have to look at something on the keyboard ect. They touch my nose bridge and when lifting up the HDM for a peek they scrape my head. I could get a thicker G2 pad that but I just put them aside for now. I'm thinking of using contacts ot atleast try.

I just transitioned from the TM Warthog stick to the RealSimulator FSSB-R3L Base and the F16SGRH Viper stick and using the TM Warthog Throttle. Still trying to get use to it.
