Same. Seems random places cause screen shudder too but no FPS drop.

Perfect. I hate using easy comms and changing freq’s to talk to tower, ground, etc, will be great.
-
Looking great! One thing I didn’t see, or perhaps missed. Are you changing actual frequencies in game or does the F10 menu override all frequencies when using VA? Would be great if you had to change freq’s as requested such as with SRS.

This has been an issue since day 1 release and never even addressed or acknowledged by the developers despite multiple reports. I’ve uninstalled it and won’t bother with it again. Too bad, map has potential.

Excellent work, immediate DL for me. Any chance this can be eventually used on other maps?
-
Technically yes, the more you preload the less chance you have of stuttering during mission flight BUT initial load can be much longer and having your preload maxed means more RAM is used removing that from anything else DCS uses it for. I personally have my preload at 55000 (which I think equates to 55km), and depending on map flown, I’ve seen DCS use as much as 28gb of RAM out of my 64gb. For me lower preload just works better.
-
Edit **** What’s your terrain preload set at? Try lowering it below 55000 and see if it make a difference. Does on my system.

DCS Optimized Textures Powershell Script
Spetz replied to zbysiek's topic in How To Mod for DCS World
So far so good. Have only done DCS Mods and CoreMods folder, but have already saved 87 Gb of SDD space! -
Just because it’s an option, doesn’t mean you need to use it. Some people do. Nobody is forcing you to use a flight aid.

Works fine. I added a +10 curve on pitch and roll to give it a heavier feeling, may go up a bit more.

Not much info above to help but if you are running VR with a Quest 2/3 and OpenXR toolkit, Oculus app Ver 68 is not compatible with OpenXR toolkit. Either disable OpenXR TK or disable public beta to roll back oculus to Ver 67. if you aren’t running a Quest, then I have no idea.

Hopefully in the next month or so we might get a hint of the OH-58(D) manual coming.. your guides are great!

Performance issues - New launcher launches ST or MT?
Spetz replied to captain_dalan's topic in General Bugs
You can disable/enable from one of the settings pages within DCS itself. -
It the map going to include new ME vehicles? Such as yellow or white Toyota Corollas and motorcycles? Those were the primary vehicles used by the Taliban down in RC South when I was there in ‘07. Cheers

I use this.. it should be added to DCS official IMHO https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3335023/

I sit on my Warthog base plate on my PC chair to keep my stick steady.. have never bothered properly mounting it to anything lol..I likely have the most un-ergonomic setup in DCS, but it’s what I’m used too and have zero issue flying any of the DCS choppers
-
Not flyable, or you can’t fly it? Can you expand on what you think the issue is?
-
The KW is single engine. I have my right throttle bound as the collective (reversed input), smaller slider bound to engine RPM (twist on the collective). Works fine. You don't need both throttles mapped, but you can link together mechanically as I do. I have the pinkie switch bound to REC/ACK button so the unused throttle (left) just follows the collective, and I have access to the REC/ACK button at all times flying.

Anyone update their nvidia drivers to 552.22 yet? See any performance increases for VR in DCS? Currently running 551.86, but they work pretty smooth..

I know there’s a wait, but price of the single head version with shipping to Canada? Thanks

I’ve never been 100% accurate with the HMD and Shkval, but close enough. You are in a moving helo, using a moving HMD, aiming at a target that is moving relative to your helo, while moving your head. 1 or 2 degrees off is actually pretty good if you think about it. Parallax error could also be modeled.
