  1. Well, I'm still waiting for the corrected Belouga since the BK M-90 have been done correctly. Should work like in the video that's been linked here: https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/licensed-third-party-projects/razbam/m-2000/240606-operation-of-the-blg-66
  2. I've never seen more than 2.15 on the gauge in the cockpit (neither on my rig nor in footage on the Tube), unless in a dive and that was just by a very small margin. But as you posted a TacView image, I never checked that TBH, but I've also heard you shouldn't take the perf data from TV too seriously more than just once. Either way, I guess I should see if it's just a speed gauge thing. Always tried on a clean airframe (tunnel racks removed) from a shallow <5° descent beginning at high speed reached on 42kish, checking especially around 35-38k.
  3. Laughs in ALDI Equator They don't make such ads here though...
  4. I do have Cockpit Global Illumination on and it never was a problem, but I'll try that out. Thanks, not a biggie that you did't react immediately.
  5. Well given the fact the B tops out at M 2.15 in DCS and it's never been changed, can I expect to hit 2.34 with the A finally? The B has noticably more thrust without AB than the B, but the TF30 build up nice ram thrust with speed. I also remember seeing SFC numbers that suggested a much lower AB fuel usage than we do see in the B in DCS, so that must be attributed to the TF30s as well, so I kinda expect longer AB duration, at the expense of thrust which will be less. The B really is starving in no time, but so is the F-16 that also has the 110. And their AB FF is quite comparable in DCS. You don't since you're not even supposed to have tabs in the first place anymore. Well, I just did. Wrote the first quote post, Ctrl-A-Xed it out and pasted into N++, MiG28ed the page to even be able to select a second post for quoting, Ctrl-Ved the other back in and went on. Certainly was easier before, by just middle clicking the relevant Quote buttons while reading and then just pulling the things from the quote tabs together into one box and do the writing then. But well, they killed the middle click by making everything js. Must be like running the gauntlet for anyone who uses NoScript now...
  6. I was wanting for this for a long time since the radar range settings appeared in the Jester menu as I controlled that like the LANTIRN myself before that... but yesterday I noticed there's the GS mode added, I think it's the lower left thing in the BVR menu. But no option to recenter it. BTW: What I'd really consider necessary to be done by HB is when Jester switches to GS, he should up the range one notch if it's not already maxed out, so the radius of the GS mode will be the same as the range was before in AC stab. Same he should crank it one down when going back to the normal radar mode.
  7. I was talking about the "new eninge planned for 21" thing which was in the GR interview at around 12:50 (looked that up just now) you just posted. Should have quoted the question.
  8. This has been marked [RESOLVED], but the Master Caution button still stays in with the keybind. Any chance to have that covered soon™?
  9. It was in the Future of DCS interview that GR did.
  10. I must be dreaming...
  11. Tried without the shader mod and clearing shader chaches to see if it was causing this (so 3dmigoto would be the only graphical mod), I can still see the labels through Jeff, A-10C2, F-16, F-18, F-14, Ka-50. Haven't bothered trying other assets...
  12. Just did some basic maths, when the max. slant range is 12nm, you can just designate from about 24kft at an angle of 20° or more. Think that's easy enough to remember since the 24k is also the max alt for having the LANTIRN active. Oh, well this board though, had to retype everything because it froze up on posting, followed by this: Error while saving content: %1$s error_information_x-1 Well, that is what you get when you buy Early Access, ED
  13. Fond memories of the long time that wasn't modelled yet. I hope that can be set up on the DTC though. And TBH, if that'd be a real thing, I'd highly appreciate a special option to disable the auto switching meanwhile.
  14. Turn away from the target, but make sure the target slant range is 8nm max upon impact. The laser does end there abruptly, just like a light saber in a well known scifi franchise. Or just shoot much earlier since you can do that from 17nm already with enough energy to back that up. And don't go too fast as the Mav will be subsonic most of its travel.
  15. I guess Simon Pearson would like to have a chat with you on that... it was him who said that the new engine, which is going to be utilizing Vulkan, multi threading and even RTX, is planned to be released into public testing somewhere in 2021. Of course that can be anywhere from 2022 - 2025 for the actual release into OB as there probably will be an OA for it first, but well. Let's just hope enough. DCS really does need that stuff, and Single Pass Stereo rendering badly. As for the most recent NL (no, not you, 9L): Can't wait for the SA symbology on that JHMCS in the Hornet... will I finally be able to "see" other planes with that? Very exciting! Also looking forward to the AZ/EL and GRID things there. And that has to compete with the F-14A...
  16. To be fair, 49798 ran great. Had over 50fps in my Quest (CV1 was locked to 45 though as I somehow can't manage to switch off that ASW hardlock in that one) in that when taking off from Senaki to the west. Since the patch after that I'm down to 30 in the CV1 and 24 in the Q. Just tried to fly on an MP server and got 9fps there (CV1 ofc)... well, that's DCS. It simply drops performance extremely hard with both AI things happening and MP in general. If you're CPU bottlenecked like me with a 3570, there it goes. The only options are flying alone in rather scarce missions with very little scripting or go pancake...
  17. BTW who decided to hang the thing on a 56k dialup? The old one always was ultra quick and responsive while this one does perform [REDACTED].
  18. Just do it. If you want something to give you a massive grin, then take the MiG-15 and fire that 37mm gun. You will love it.
  19. Thank you for your quick response and that fix
  20. The real downside is that it makes you hungry because it sounds like in a "Golden Seagull Restaurant" when everyone is waiting for their fries... I do have fond memories of a time within another sim where people used to place fuel trucks inside of mission critical buildings that both would go up decently when hit and actually add to the score / count for a mission winning condition. Don't even remotely know how that could be done in DCS, even with scripting you'd need to be able to address a specific building somehow. Even there's a possibility, it's probably an utter chore to realize...
  21. Thanks, didn't know that. Really need to spend some time with this bird finally
  22. MFG Crosswind
  23. Just had the same issue, is it really the altitude? Tried to designate at around 25k - 30k in order to stay outside of SA-8s with enough slant range.
  24. PC also works on FARP things, and apparently it will work without touching things: Knowing the HB system finally does work on a server however is great!
  25. Is it just me? Noticed it already early after EA release, but it's still there. First 50% of brake axis input do nothing. And the axis tune dialog does miss exactly that one slider which would be needed to fix that. It's only possibe when inverting the axis which would make the brakes fully applied with toe brakes not pressed. I'll throw a party if ED ever adds that one...
